In August, Weiland told ExploreMusic that he was at work on a “very traditional” Christmas album with a full-on band that included “strings, upright bass, jazz horns, piano, and guitar.”
Weiland said his Christmas album would include a reggae version of “The Little Drummer Boy,” explaining: “I’m sort of picking various versions of these songs, because they’ve been covered so many times, but my favorite versions – with a little twist.”
