Dose of Metal: Death Metal from Denmark, that seems plausible. There’s a huge scene of Black and Death Metal in the northern countries, what makes you stand out in that scene?
Jökull: Well, we just make music that we would like to listen to, and get inspired by all the bands we listen to, which is mainly the old american stuff. But the old Swedish scene is also something we listen alot to, so there is so much. But, I don’t think there are any other bands in Denmark who play like we do. Not that we are something original. We just love old school death metal, and that is why our inspiration comes from those bands.
DoM: You released your first EP this year. Any plans for a full lenght album?
Jökull: Yeah! We will record our debut album in February. The same place as the two previous times; TrackZ Studio with Chris Zalewski behind the buttons, but this time another guy will mix it, but we haven’t really found anyone yet. We have a few in mind, but nothing determined. The record will have 9-10 songs. We aren’t quite sure of it yet. Artwork is on its way, but more about that later!

DoM: You self-released your EP ‘This is Art’. Have you been in talks with any labels?
Jökull: Not really. We had two distribution offers, but not quite what we were looking for! We’ll go hunting for a label for our debut!
DoM: For how long have you been playing together?
Jökull: We started in the summer of 2007, so for three and a half years or something like that. We haven’t had any line up changes yet, and I don’t really think that will ever happen as the main situation in the band is right now.
DoM: For people who have never listened to your music before, what do they have to know about you before listening?
Jökull: They have to know that, that it’s their own fault! 120 % brutality right into their faces!
DoM: Anything else you want to tell your readers at doseofmetal.com?
Jökull: Nothing else then that all the other interviews are really cool, and that we hope to perform for all you guys one day! Definitely the main goal in this band! To perform as many times as possible and release some brutal shit!
DoM: And last but not least, tell us how awesome we are in one sentence.
