Nick Oliveri, former Queens of the Stone Age bassist, is crazy. That’s not a secret anymore, is it? But who would have thought that he’s a freaking super-villain?
What the hell am I talking about? Well, apparently Oliveri got into a standoff with a S.W.A.T. team at his home in Los Angeles, that lasted four hours. Two of those four hours, he held his girlfriend as a hostage and, as police later found out, was armed with a high powered riffle that was fully loaded. This sounds like a script for a fucking Bruce Willis film, doesn’t it?
According to TMZ, he struck his girlfriend the day before during an argument. A day later, she came back to Oliveri’s home to get her stuff and move out, which resulted in another argument that led to the scenario described above.
“Oliveri was booked on felony domestic violence” and “has since been released after posting $100,000 bail.”
