2010 – 2018
Hi guys. If you’ve ever read our articles in our first three years (2010-2013), I want to thank you for being there with us. This site was started in September 2010 when a bunch of guys in their early 20s wanted to have some fun online. Unfortunately this never became more than a fun little project, so slowly but surely, we all got too busy to work on it. Around 2013 we pretty much gave up. I posted a bit in 2014, then never touched it again until now.
I know I’m mostly writing this for myself, since nobody is probably reading this. But I still want to give a shoutout to my brothers Mark, Guido, Simo, Chris, Cosmin, Dusty, and everyone else who has contributed over the years. It’s been fun and I really think we had something here.
I am honestly very proud of what this site was in the early years, a hilarious take on metal news which few other sites could rival. I mean, we certainly weren’t the best, and we could never turn this into a profitable business, but we were fucking hilarious, if I do say so myself.
So I just wanted to write something here now that the site turned 8. Maybe someday we’ll find a way to revive this somehow. Until then, thanks again to everyone and see you around!
