Sin Quirin is peeing bricks
Sin Quirin, of Ministry fame, has a delicate problem. He is literally peeing bricks.
“I was taken to the hospital on January 1 at around 5 a.m. I had excruciating lower left abdominal pain. It was the worst pain EVER. Long story short, it was kidney stones… I’m feeling better now. I just hope they dissolve ’cause I don’t want to go through that EVER AGAIN“ said Sin while playing rock paper scissors (with actual rocks)
‘It’s raining stones… Hallelujah!’ is the joke I’d do if I was an asshole. But I’m a nice guy, so get well soon Sin!
Slash does horror films now
Like we didn’t have enough bad horror films, Slash is doing his own now. His production company? Slasher Films, of course.
Expect helicopter shots of the killer doing a guitar solo near a church in all the films.
Make the jump to watch an interview of him talking about this and other stuff, if you care… And you shouldn’t…
Exodus will open for Maiden
Thrash metal band Exodus will open for Airplane metal band Iron Maiden in Chile.
The concert is on April 10th of this year in Santiago, Chile.
In other news, my resolution for 2011 was to delete my browser history after viewing mature porn as it’s pretty embarrassing when you’re caught watching that by your grandma.
When asked why they post useless shit like this, Dose of Metal had no comment. They just cried.
The fallen heroes
Revolver‘s January issue has one of the greatest covers ever. It portrays some of metal’s biggest heroes, who sadly left this world a bit too early.
The drawing is by J.G. Jones and it depicts Ronnie James Dio, Peter Steele, Dimebag, Cliff Burton and Randy Rhoads amongst others.
You can buy the issue and a special Dimebag commemorative coin here. Full cover after the jump.
Portnoyful new album
Well, well, it seems like the tweet Petrucci posted about entering the studio was about 20 hours after Portnoy tweeted something himself.
“MP, Steve Morse, Neal Morse, Dave LaRue & Casey McPherson…we begin tomorrow! The musical potential is off the charts! Very exciting….” tweeted Portnoy with the enthusiasm of a child.
Read post here.
Could it be that Petrucci read it and felt the need to boast about his band as well? We’ll never know… Glad to see Portnoy found himself a band though. Details about this so-called ‘supergroup’ still unknown.
