Slash + Fergie = Too hot for TV

Slash has a video with Fergie, and it’s apparently a bit on the perverted side, at least by TV standards.

“Slash‘s new music video for his song “Beautiful Dangerous”, which features a guest appearance from Fergie, is apparently too steamy for wide public release and will have to be edited. Slash was quoted as saying in a recent interview, “It’s very controversial. I thought it was okay but apparently there’s a lot of suggestiveness and we’re having a rethink.”

I’ll be honest, if I had kids, I wouldn’t want them seeing this video, but mostly because I’d like to keep them away from middle-aged singers and awful music. So yeah, they should mute the audio track before a wide release. Think of the children, for God’s sake. Video after the jump… NSFE (not safe for ears)

Soundgarden do Coco. Twice.

Conan “Coco” O’Brien is back on late night, and he had Soundgarden on as musical guests last night, where they performed two songs. Pretty cool huh? Not really, but still, the videos are after the jump. If you care. And you shouldn’t.

Seinfeld is back

Cue bass theme song. Oh wait, it’s not that Seinfeld, you know, the genius comic who changed the face of TV. It’s another Seinfeld, one I’ve never heard of. But rest assured, he’s as ‘modest’ as the famous one.

The music is the best we’ve ever written. I’m nervous, because it’s almost too good. said Evan Seinfeld about the new Biohazard record.

Well, we gotta take his word for it, don’t we? He isn’t biased, that’s for sure. So cancel the Grammy Awards and everything, divine music is coming, folks!

Anselmo could walk through walls

Philip Anselmo‘s been in so many bands that maths isn’t advanced enough to keep track of. However, there’s one band he keeps mentioning all the time… And it’s — you guessed it — Pantera.

Man, we were Supermen; we were made of rubber. We could bounce off the ground, we could walk through walls. We had this regional scene in the DFW area that was monstrous, man. We built this following that was insane, man. said Phil while crying.

Watch interview after the jump.

Cocaine’s a hell of a drug. Huh huh huh.

Yngwie is modest

Yngwie Malmsteen loves himself. He acknowledges he’s a guitar God, but he’s so great that he tops his godliness every time, cause he just keeps evolving, he’s that amazing.

I picked up the guitar 40 years ago. One would think, “Enough is enough, why would he top himself?” or whatever, but I really did. I wasn’t necessarily saying, “I’m going to top everything think that I have done.” It was more of a burning passion. It’s weird; I don’t understand it. I just pick up a guitar, and it’s a fire. That’s why I call the album “Relentless”, because I can’t do anything half-assed; I just can’t. It has to be full-out or nothing, more is more. said Yngwie while staring at a painting of himself.

You gotta give it to him though, it takes a confident man to wear leather pants while overweight and middle-aged. Kudos.
