Bret Michaels got his ride on

Bret Michaels released a song and video for some crappy supercross show or something. I honestly haven’t paid attention, the only sport I watch is YouPorn.

Laugh at the vid above and troll all your friends with it, by posting it on their wall. Then mention Alex from Dose of Metal as the source for it. Then tell them you were about to do something, but then took an arrow to the knee. Then post some badly drawn troll face and tell them to press J over and over again.

If the paragraph above makes no sense to you, congratulations: You probably had sex at least once.

GNR’s DJ wrote 12 songs for ‘their new album’

Guns N’ Roses guitarist DJ Ashba (real name Disc Jockey Ashballs) says Axl played him hours of new material to him, and that in return, he wrote 12 songs that Axl loved.

That’s a cute story, want to hear everything? Well, Mama’s Fallen Angels interviewed him. You can check it out here:

When asked what it feels like to be in a GNR tribute band, DJ Ashba had no comment. He just showed his Slash-shaped dartboard.

Original Metallica guitarist got interviewed

When people say ‘original Metallica guitarist,’ they’re probably wondering ‘an original guitarist in Metallica? You mean one that doesn’t steal riffs from Stone?’

But no, I mean original as in ‘first.’

Lloyd Grant (pictured above next to that chick) played with Metallica in their original recording of “Hit The Lights.” So I guess that makes him important enough to warrant an interview, eh? And I guess it makes me lame enough to talk about this interview, eh? Yeah…

Listen to it below, courtesy of MusicLegends.ca

I didn’t know it was humanly possible to be shorter than Kirk. I stand corrected.

Van Halen keeping it retro with new music video

Someone had better tell Van Halen that this is not the 80s anymore, and cheesy effects like reversing footage, then playing it forward again is not ‘hip’ anymore.

Their new video for “Tattoo” is most likely intended to be nostalgic, but all it does to me is feel sorry for a bunch of middle-aged musicians seemingly stuck in a bubble from before I was born.

Guys, we admire your career, but get a fucking director who does not belong in a nursing home.
