Nergal is doing a lot better
Great news! Looks like Behemoth front man/guitarist Adam “Nergal” Darski has found a bone marrow donor that is a genetic match. He still has a long way to go, but good news so far. We at Dose Of Metal wish him all the best!

Dio Christmas cards now available
Ever thought about sending a Christmas card to a good buddy that likes heavy metal? Probably not. If so, now you have a chance to buy Ronnie James Dio Pop-Up Christmas cards.
I’m not too sure what to think of this. Seems kinda pathetic this is happening after his death but I heard it’s going to a charity, so all is forgiven.
Besides, I think it would be pretty neat to receive a Ronnie James Dio Christmas card in my mailbox.

Paul Di'Anno is awesome
If you’re only going to read one book this year, I highly suggest it be “The Beast” from Paul Di’Anno.
I’ve only read bits and pieces thus far and so far worth the read. Violent drunk stories… guns… cocaine… ridiculous amount of groupie sex… rim jobs… being an asshole to everyone… locked inside a U.S prison and so much more. He does everything that a true rock and roll singer is suppose to do.
Click this link if you want to purchase the book. It’s a perfect Christmas gift for a loved one.
Morgan Rose still kicking it
Back in the late 1990s, Morgan Rose was one of the most popular drummers in the Nu Metal genre. Besides being all over the drum magazines and marrying the chick from Coal Chamber, Sevendust actually did pretty decent with sales for their first couple albums.
Anyway, Morgan Rose recently did an interview with Away Team. He talks about everything, including drumming with Motley Crue and being excited having Clint Lowery back in the band.
