Are you metal enough for Helloween?
German power metal band Helloween have decided to have a little fun with their fans. Slide on over to this site to prove Helloween how metal you really are. I did the test and scored 100%. It’s so ridiculous how metal I am. Feel free to post your score.

Testament answers your questions
Eric Peterson and Alex Skolnick, guitar players for Testament, recently answered fan-submitted questions for Fret 12. They talk about everything including their guitar collection, the current metal scene and even brought up Dose Of Metal as the best upcoming metal news site on the web(okay, that was a huge lie).

New Heaven & Hell clip
If you’re planning on buying a metal DVD for a Christmas gift, I highly suggest going with Heaven & Hell “Neon Nights”. It was recorded live during the summer of 2009 at the Wacken Open Air festival and will be released November 16th/2010.
The DVD is a must have if you are fan of the three Black Sabbath albums with Dio, and the Heaven & Hell debut album.

Primal Fear want more money
Primal Fear are re-releasing their first four albums – Self titled, Jaws Of Death, Nuclear Fire and Devil’s Ground. The four albums have been remastered and all have leftover songs that were not good enough from 1998-2004 bonus tracks. The albums will be released in November for the European fans and a North American date is set for early 2011.
Good idea for newbies of power metal, but will the die hard Primal Fear fans want this?
Crystal Viper have a new album out
After only 20 months, Crystal Viper are back with a brand new album, Legends. The album was released yesterday and a track by track description of Legends can be found here.
Crystal Viper clearly will never be considered legends in the metal world, but their Metal Nations record was a great one, so I’m going to predict Legends is a pretty bad ass sounding album as well.
