Soundgarden to perform on Conan

Soundgarden will be the musical guest on Conan O’Brien’s new TBS talk show on Tuesday, November 9th.  As expected, they will probably perform their latest single,  Black Rain.

Will I watch this?  Probably not.  Chris Cornell’s voice is shot and Conan O’Brien hasn’t been funny in over 10 years.

Who are Battlesoul?

Do you like Tyr?  How about Fintroll and Turisas?

Monster Magnet are still powertripping

I think it’s safe to say that most of us have forgot about New Jersey rockers Monster Magnet.  Last I remember, they had success in the mid 90s and their “Power Trip” record went gold.

Well, they have a new album coming out on Oct 29th.  “Mastermind” is the title and they also have made the album available for streaming.   Will this album go gold?  Of course not, they would be lucky to sell 30,000, but check the album out anyway if you like hard rock.

Detsörgsekälf = most hated unknown metal band ever?

Detsörgsekälf hail from Toronto, Canada.  They are parody band of the black metal scene.  Just like us, they also do not take themselves serious.
