Support Atheism
“Christian metal” band Atheist are finally releasing a new album, “Jupiter“, on November 9th.
Steve Flynn, who happens to be the drummer for Atheist, released a video about the drums and guitar coming together for an upcoming song. It sounds very promising. No question Bret Michaels Kelly Schaefer and the boys will release another masterpiece.

Remember Anthrax on Married With Children?
I’ve been on a big “Married With Children” kick as of late, watching a ridiculous amount of episodes. I have many favourite classic moments, but one that always comes to mind immediately, is when 80s thrash heads, “Anthrax,” were on the show.

3 Inches Of Blood, a band that has stolen their sound from various NWOBHM bands, will make an appearance on MTV2’s Headbangers Ball tonight. Well, not really, early Tuesday morning at 3:00 a.m. EST. Why does Headbangers Ball air at a ridiculously bad time? Who knows…
Anyway, they just released “Silent Killer” to video networks, so I’m sure they will be talking about that and will chat about performing all summer on the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival.

Baptized In Blood are from London, Ontario, the city where I was born in. I’ve seen them live quite a few times. They suck. Just a lame “metalcore” band that sounds like a really mediocre version of unreleased Killswitch Engage songs. I’ve obviously heard worse, but I never understood the hype with this band. They were signed to Roadrunner last year sometime and are releasing their debut next month.
What’s shocking is Dave Mustaine of Megadeth wants to be the co-manager of this band. The man released many classics over the years, so I’m just surprised he would want to work with a band that lacks creativity and probably won’t release more than 3 albums.

Learning bad songs on guitar
“Pop metal” band Bullet For My Valentine, who happen to be one of the worst mainstream metal bands out today, have released a guitar tab book to their loyal 14 year old fans. The book consists all 11 tracks from their most recent album “Fever,” which was released earlier this year.
