Titans Eve give away song for free

Do you know Titans Eve? No? But you should! I’ve reviewed their debut album The Divine Equal a while ago and gave it a favorable 4 1/2 skull rating. If that wasn’t reason enough for you to check them out, Titans Eve now gave you a third reason (the second reason being “They kick ass, yo!”) to check out The Divine Equal.

They are giving away a song, called ‘Tides Of Doom,’ off their debut album for free right here. Why are they giving away the song for free? Well, to celebrate their nomination at the Vancouver Urban Culture Awards.

If you want to support the band, go here, go to Step 3, choose Metal Band and vote for Titans Eve. Or don’t if you think the other bands deserve it more. You can also vote for 3 Inches of Blood, Quartered, Bison BC, Gross Misconduct, Archon Legion, Tard, Artep or Muspellheim.

Personally, I voted for Titans Eve but I could also understand if you voted for 3 Inches of Blood. The other bands don’t really ring a bell, as I’m not really up-to-date with Canadian metal. Either way, check out the song because it’s killer!

Job for a Cowboy (pictured on top) and Unearth (pictured beneath) both revealed the artworks of their upcoming releases.

We posted about the first song off Job for a Cowboy’s upcoming EP Gloom just yesterday. Gloom will be released on June 7th.

Unearth’s fifth album Darkness In The Light will be released on July 4th (hey, that’s my birthday!). The album was produced by Killswitch Engage’s Adam D.

Check out both artworks after the jump.

New music streams headlines

Sixx:AM, including Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx, released their second album This Is Gonna Hurt last week. You can stream a song of that album, called ‘Lies Of The Beautiful People,’ here. As always, Youtube is giving me trouble because of where I’m from but honestly, I don’t really care about that song either way.

Deceased’s new album Surreal Overdose hits the stores on May 13th. You can now stream two new songs, ‘The Traumatic’ here and ‘Kindred Assembly’ here.

Samples of All Shall Perish’s (pictured above) fourth album This Is Where It Ends are streaming on Youtube right here. The album is set to be released on July 26th. It actually sounds pretty promising.

And last but not least, Revocation are streaming a new song, off their upcoming album Chaos Of Forms, called ‘Cradle Robber’ on their Facebook page.

Start your week with a cowboy song

Job for a Cowboy recently released a song, called ‘Misery Reformatory,’ for free online. In other words, you can stream the song below from Soundcloud. The song has been available on Amazon for a month already.

The song is the first single of their upcoming EP Gloom, which will be released via Metal Blade Records on June 7th.

I’ve always been a defender of Job for a Cowboy. Genesis and Ruination were both solid Death Metal albums but I can’t really warm up for this song. The solo is pretty awesome but that’s pretty much all this song has to offer. The rest is really forgetable at best. But check it out yourself.

Review: Death Comes Pale – Through Carrion Eyes

Death Comes Pale’s bassist Anders contacted a couple of days ago and asked if we wanted to review their EP Through Carrion Eyes. Sure, we do. The first thing I noticed when I looked through the press material, was that I have the same Bloodbath shirt, the guy in the middle above wears. High-five!

Before I review the EP, let me tell you that you can listen to the entire EP on DCP’s homepage. Come on, free shit. Who can resist free shit?

Now make the jump for me review of Through Carrion Eyes.
