New Black Label Society video
I’d really like to talk about Black Label Society’s new video ‘Overlord,’ but I can’t get the damn player to load for me.
Maybe you can though, try after the jump.
Make-A-Metal-Wish
The guys in Metallica might be money hungry, they may not be metal anymore but they sure seem to be good guys and that’s what matters at the end of the day, right? Right.
How did I come to that conclusion? Recently Hetfield, Ulrich, Hammett and Trujillo agreed to do a meet-and-greet with a 17-year-old fan of theirs. Said fan was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia last September and got to meet the band through the Make-A-Wish foundation of New Zealand.

Would you pay $1,000 to see Guns N' Roses?
I have no idea who’s in “Guns N’ Roses” (quotation marks placed on purpose) nowadays and I can’t be assed to search for a recent picture of the current line-up so you have to deal with a picture of the old, old, old line-up.
Now, that that’s out of the way, we can go on with the news. According to Blabbermouth, Guns N’ Roses recently received $1 Million (that’s 1,000,000 freaking Dollars) to play a private show in Moscow, Russia. To attend the concert, each invited guest had to pay about $1,000.
Sounds fair, right? A bunch of people who had nothing to do with the success of this “band” (Yes, quotation marks placed on purpose again) covering their songs for a bunch of Russians who have too much money on their hands. Uh huh. And I’m still writing this for free. Life’s definitely fair.
Shitty cellphone video after the jump (You’d think someone who has enough money to spend $1,000 on a concert ticket could afford a decent camera but remember, this is still Russia).

Phil Anselmo to appear at Dimebash?
As we reported earlier this week and last week, Dimebash 2010 is going to be held tomorrow in West Hollywood, Carlifornia and it’s going to be filmed for a future DVD release aswell.
Slayer’s Kerry King, who will appear at Dimebash revealed that Phil Anselmo, former Pantera singer and Dimebag bandmate, is going to appear aswell. King said:
“Rita’s [Haney, Dimebag’s longtime girlfriend] busting my balls to do it, and I told her I would if she got me a real singer,” Kerry said. “‘Cause you never know who’s gonna show up. So she goes, ‘Phil Anselmo [Pantera, Down], Chuck Billy [Testament], Robb Flynn [Machine Head]… Are those good enough?’ And I’m, like, ‘Fuck, I’ll do it with any one of those guys.’ But I’m gonna see her tonight. I haven’t committed, but I guess she committed me. [Laughs] Oh, Dave’s [Lombardo, Slayer drummer] doing it, for sure. But I’m pretty sure I’ll do it.”
