Update: Aliases will make it to Euroblast
Breaking news on the website no one’s heard of; the band no one’s heard of, that were supposed to be playing the festival no one’s heard of, until they had van trouble, will STILL be playing Euroblast.
Aliases have managed to fit 4 guitars, 2 basses, cymbols, snare, bass pedals and merch into a VW Polo with 4 band members. As can be seen above. Well kind of.
If you live in Europe, specifically Germany, and you’re going to Euroblast, then all ten of you should probably care. You can check out the band here.
Cowboy Way to the UK
Do you enjoy the sound of douchey cowboy rednecks live? Good news for those that do and are from the UK, because the “awesome” (and by awesome, I mean not at all) Hellyeah will release a second digital single in the U.K. in November. The song, Cowboy Way will come with an exclusive live audio track of ‘Hell Yeah‘ (wow the song has the same title of the band. How cool!), which was recorded live at a performance in Texas. Wow cowboy rednecks performing in Texas? Who would have thought?
More over at Blabbermouth.
Aliases need a Van
Ex-Sikth stars, Aliases, (who? Clicky here), are supposed to be playing the Euroblast festival in Germany this weekend, but unfortunately, for some reason or another, are out of a van. How? I have no idea, but the band are now desperately trying to find one.
Hopefully they make it to the festival, because it’s supposed to be their debut performance.
P.S. If by any chance you care, or think you can help (and are from the UK), Aliases Facebook page can be found here. I would help if I could, but unfortunately Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays are all my porn nights. As are Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays to be honest.
Ill Niño samples
Like clean singing? Like power chords? Like bongos? Like acoustic guitars? Like Nu-Metal? Like it when bands sing in English and then break into Spanish for no apparent reason? Like Soulfly?
Then you may like the sample previews from Ill Niño‘s forthcoming album, Dead New World, after the jump.
As I Lay Dying on Zeitgeist
Truth is Scary recently conducted an interview with Christian Metalcore band, As I Lay Dying‘s bassist, Josh Gilbert. Josh discusses how the documentary “Zeitgeist” challenged his band’s Christian faith, questions if 9/11 was an “inside job,” and talks FEMA death camps. You can watch the interview after the jump.
Apparently after watching the film, the band questioned their own Christian beliefs, but after researching for themselves, found that Zeitgest was made up of “shoddy research”. I tried watching Zeitgeist once, but gave up the moment I realised it wasn’t German porn. The only thing it made me question, was my porn searching skillz.
