Frankenstaine and Megadeth rocked Kimmel

Megadeth played Kimmel last night, and they played it alright. Since it was Halloween, the band decided to dress up, and you can see the results above. Pretty cool.

More Lamb of God album details emerge

Now that we know the name of the new Lamb of God album, we got a few more details. The album is coming out in January (the title of the video above says Resolution 1.24.12, which is also seen in the video, so unless America has switched to ‘normal’ date format and invented 24th month, it means it’s coming out on January 24, which is Tuesday which again further confirms it).

Speaking of the video above, it’s a teaser for a new song. Speaking of the new album with Gun Shy Assassin, band’s drummer Chris Adler confirmed they’ve also worked with an orchestra and opera singers. OMG S&M LULZ.

Kidding aside, seems that Lamb of God fans have a lot to look forward to. Oh, and if you make the jump, you can also see the album cover.

Need a mixtape for Halloween?

Mmmm the icecream looks good

Everyone knows metal and horror go hand in hand, so if you’re deejaying (urban lingo yo) tonight, leave that wubstep thrash apart and impress them girls (and boys) with an old school metal mixtape.

I wish I could brag how I made this one, but I didn’t, I’m far too lazy plus my favorite bands are Crazy Town and Emmure so I don’t pass the metal test (but I get mad respect from my bros). Luckily, I’m good at this internet shit, so I found a premade mixtape, done by CrookOne (was involved with Team Sleep) and Frank D. (Deftones) who also go by their shared monicker DecibelDevils, and it’s called Vol. 666: The Number of the Beats.

Since I’m not sure how the legality of a mixtape is looked upon, I’ll leave that problem up to them, and I will only refer you to their blog where you can find it. Click HERE. Continue reading to see the tracklist.

Got djent? If not, here’s some Vildhjarta for you!

Vildhjarta

Vildhjarta will release their debut album, Måsstaden, on November 28th and 29th (the one that’s Tuesday is North American release date, hence by the magic of logic, we come to the conclusion that the other one is for the European market. If only I weren’t so lazy to click on the calendar icon sitting in the bottom of my screen and check which is which… Oh well. Where was I? Oh yeah, need to close the brackets).

Good news is, you can listen to the previews right now, if you head over to Amazon, and if you make the jump, you can also watch their set at this year’s Euroblast.

Thanks for both the news and the footage goes to Got Djent.
