Who wants Korn? Who wants Korn?
Guys, I have some good news and some bad news.
Good news first: Korn have put up Narcissistic Cannibal, their first single from the upcoming wubstep/nu metal album The Path of Totality up for grabs on their website (they also released the lyrics video which is posted above). No Facebook likes required, you don’t have to give them your email, and the song comes in quality wav format.
Bad news: it’s still a Korn song. If you really feel like it, you can download it here.
Someone call George Clooney now!
Tom Morello is stealing his spotlight at the Occupy Wall Street protests. Taking up his The Nightwatchman alter-ego, Tom Morello will perform a free concert at Liberty Plaza/Zuccotti Park in New York today.
Dayum, the system’s going down, fools. Bring a scarf, go vibe out at the show, then later chillax at Starbucks and contemplate how you’re impacting the world, via Tumblr photo blog. xoxo
Chimaira starts tour without two members
The first leg of the all new Chimaira tour has just started and it’s already promising — The first show didn’t feature two prominent vocalists, Mark Davis and that other guy, Mark Hunter. Rumor has it the first one got ill, and the second one was too busy posting about it on Twitter.
Luckily, vocalists in Chimaira nowadays come in abundance, so replacing Mystery Mark was his fellow bandmate and newcomer to the band, Sean Zatorsky (whose regular position is on keyboards and back vocals, and who sings in his own band Daath), and you can judge him by watching the video above. Gets a pass from me, and my word is final (because I can delete your comments… and I’m not married).
All this band is missing right now is a collaboration with Mark Wahlberg. We’ll keep you posted on it. Oh, and if you found this article too confusing, follow @chimairamark. Get well, bro!
Want to hear Maynard James Keenan groan?
Get any album he’s ever appeared on then, duh. What’s that, you got tired of them all and would like to hear something new?
You’re in for a treat, because SPIN is streaming the entire new Puscifer album, Conditions of My Parole. That’s like all Maynard, all groaning, all the time. Awesome, right?
Yeah, whatever. Now excuse me, I have to take a poop.
