Sharon and Ozzy sitting in a tree…
It’s amazing to me that in spite of all his antics, Ozzy is a happily married family man. You’d think he’d only last a few years in a marriage, and then file for divorce citing ‘bat signal misuse’ or something crazy like that, but he’s still going strong after all these years.
But all is not well in the Osbourne estate, because apparently they owe a lot of money, and it’s not the first time they’re in trouble for it, either.
“The IRS ain’t done with Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne […] The lien, filed this week in L.A., shows the couple still owes $357,070.62 in unpaid federal income taxes from 2007.“

I wonder if they’re both going to the IRS office with a couple of pigeons.
Make the jump for a video of Sharon explaining the situation. You gotta give it to her, she is pretty funny.
Job for an interview
Job For a Cowboy, one of the few relatively decent Deathcore bands (mostly because they’re actually Death Metal), despite the stupid name, were recently interviewed by ExploreMusic. The video can be found above. I’d bore you with the details, but I’d rather you save myself some time by just pressing play.
Blabbermouth users equally love this band, just check out some of these flattering comments:
“SHIT band”
“dumb name”
“fuck these guys”
“Ridiculous band name, perhaps one of the worst band names I ever heard. Its not even funny. And the song was just garbage. Cant stand all these meaningless bullshit Death Metal bands which have flooded the market the last 20 years. Only a few of all these bands are really good. The rest think they are good just because they have a fast drummer and can imitate other bands. They all sound the same. Its just garbage.”
New American Big Four date
The rumors were confirmed. The Big Four are coming to the East Coast, yo. And not just any venue, but the Yankee Stadium in NYC.
“Enter New York . . . that’s right, The Big Four of Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, and ‘Tallica will be in the new version of the famed Yankee Stadium on September 14, 2011! We can’t wait for a night in the Bronx as our second American show and for those of you who love fun facts, this will also be the second live music event hosted at the new ballpark.
ALL seats are reserved for this show and tickets go on sale Friday, May 6 at 10:00 AM via TicketMaster. MetClub members should log in for more information about a special pre-sale starting on Wednesday, May 4. Yankees season ticket holders will have their own pre-sale, also on May 4, starting at noon.“

<insert stereotypical big four joke here>
Don’t really have anything humorous to say, really. Like I said before, if you can make it, go!
Poster after the jump.
Mike is the drummer for Dream Theater after all
As expected, Dream Theater have chosen Mike to be their drummer. Except it’s not Portnoy, it’s the other one. Mangina or whatever his last name is. Here’s what he had to say of the situation:
“It means so much to me, I almost felt like crying a couple of times. [Laughs] I didn’t know what to do.”
Well, I know what I’d do: count my lucky stars, and start thinking of that beach house I always wanted to spend my retirement in.
To remind you, Mike Mangini was one of the seven drummers who were chosen to audition for the role. The entire list:
Aquiles Priester (age 39) (Angra, Paul Di’Anno)
Peter Wildoer (age 36) (Darkane)
Marco Minnemann (age 40) (Kreator, Necrophagist, Ephel Duath, Joe Satriani)
Virgil Donati (age 52) (Planet X, Seven the Hardway)
Derek Roddy (age 38) (Hate Eternal, Nile, Today is the Day)
Mike Mangini (age 48) (Steve Vai, Extreme, Annihilator)
Thomas Lang (age 43) (John Wetton, Robert Fripp, Glenn Hughes)
Rumor has it Lars Ulrich was supposed to audition as well, but the other guys insisted it wouldn’t be fair, so they bribed some film producers to keep him busy instead.
