Corey Taylor is uncertain

Corey “keep your mask and shirt on, please!” Taylor says he still had second thoughts about touring with Slipknot. Yeah, and I had second thoughts about eating a kebab. Come on now…

Good thing the ‘fan’ excuse is still popular, though.

Honestly, I don’t know how to feel about the tour. But it’s for the fans, and for the family. We’ll see. I don’t know WHEN I’ll be ready to make an album. Might not be for years. But we will definitely play shows. We’ll see what happens said Corey while piercing his nipple again.

Watch interview after the jump.

When asked if the reason Slipknot wore masks was his being too ginger for metal, Corey had no comment. He just pointed to his jetblack hair dye.

Alice Cooper is being inducted…

Alice Cooper is finally being inducted… INTO HELL.

Just kidding, but he is really gonna be inducted into the world famous ‘Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.’

“Alice Cooper will finally be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame at the 26th annual induction ceremony, which will be held on March 14, 2011 at the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan. Also being inducted are Neil Diamond, Tom Waits, Dr. John and Darlene Love.

The inductees into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2011 will be officially announced on December 15 at 10:30 a.m. EST on the RockHall.com web site.

Say what you will about Alice, but I’ve seen him live and he puts on a great show. I think he deserves it 100%, it’s actually a bit shocking he hasn’t been inducted yet considering he’s been eligible since 1994. Oh well, I’ve been ‘eligible’ for a penis augmentation since January 2009 and they still haven’t called, the world isn’t fair… Especially if you have a girl’s name.

Lemmy knows his food

Lemmy knows a lot of things, but mainly how to play bass and get wasted, right? Wrong… He also knows his food…

Living in LA makes it so much easier to get food. I can have a full meal with two waiters and a table, brought to my door. Or order pre-cooked bacon strips, shipped to me in a polystyrene container of dry ice from Omaha Steaks. Yet I can’t buy boil-in-a-bag fish with parsley sauce, and there’s no proper Heinz baked beans, they’re in a different sauce. But mainly it’s the cheeses I object tosaid Lemmy while chewing on his sandwich.

I didn’t really understand anything of that quote. Maybe you should try some vegetables, Lemmy, I heard carrots are good if you mumble a lot.

Tom Araya is careful

Slayer and Megadeth toured together quite a bit lately, and with all The Big Four rumors, they’re likely to keep doing it. So of course, the whole rivalry questions will never end. But to be fair to interviewers, it seems the old feuds still seem to be there, at least in the form of paranoia.

He’s another human being who lives on this planet, and that’s about it. He comes across as a nice guy, but I keep my guard up around him. He’s courteous to me and my wife and my kids. So I’m courteous in return. said Tom about Dave Mustaine

Can’t we all just… Get along? All things have an end (except the sausage, the sausage has two ends, but I digress), so while I do applaud all four bands for putting their personal differences aside and being professional, I don’t think these types of statements help. Oh well, what do I know? Except, you know… Everything…

2 shades of grey

Two of the greatest mediocre Metal vocalists of the last 10/15 years are joining forces for a New Year’s Eve concert. If celebrating New Year’s, drinking, partying and having un-protected sex is a little too adventurous for you, why not just go to sleep at an Aaron Lewis (Staind) and Corey Taylor (Stone Sour/Slipknot) concert? The gig will be at Carol Morsani Hall at The Straz Center in Tampa, Florida on December 31st. Sounds like a blast right? Maybe Corey will come out in his slippers and with a pipe.
