Halford solves the mystery…
…The mystery of the NASCAR album cover. You know, the one that recently ended up on our Top 10 Worst album covers list. He speaks on why he chose it. But I guess the real mystery is just how many more worst album covers lists is this one going to make it in the future. Read on.
Murderdolls have a new video!
You’re so excited about it, right? Me neither. The song is called “Nowhere,” which is coincidently what Wednesday‘s mother told him when he asked her where she thinks his career is going, and it’s just as good as their previous videos. Or bad, depending on how you look at it. Speaking of looking at it, make the jump.
The Damned Things posted a new song online
Two weeks before their debut album is about to… debut, The Damned Things have posted a new song called “Little Darling” online. I thought they’d do some more promotion (like a video) since the release date is so close, but I guess they don’t give a shit about videos. Neither do I. Or they think Anthrax, Every Time I Die and Fall Out Boy fanbase’s word of mouth is enough of a promotion. I don’t know, I’m not a music industry analyst. All I know is that there was a time when the word of mouth of those three bands in the same sentence would grant you a foot in mouth.
Go here to listen to the song.
$havo is expecting a paycheck
Well, well, well… System of a Down is getting back together (oh happy happy joy joy!!!!!!!!!!) and guess who’s gambling money away? Well it’s Shavo Odadjian of course, who else? With big paychecks coming his way next year, the guy can afford it.
He’s been spotted at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas one day prior to the official announcement of his band’s reunion. Bless his little heart… If I knew I was gonna capitalize on kids’ nostalgia in 2011, I’d be gambling too. Unfortunately I was never part of any musical fad so I’m reduced to playing Uno on Facebook, for free. Oh well…
More photos of him gambling here.
The Rolling Stones appeared in Rolling Stone
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards topped Rolling Stone’s “The 11 Greatest Rock Feuds” top, because Keith made fun of Mick‘s tiny unit and all of that. Axl Rose and Slash came at number 10, surprisingly, but how can that be? At least Keith and Mick are still working together.
Anyways, go here and see the whole top. Watch out, it’s got one of those annoying image sliders… But we couldn’t be bothered to type all of it for you don’t want to spoil the list for you, so click them arrows and stop expecting us to do everything. Jesus fucking Christ.
