Coheed and Cambria will answer your questions
Got any questions for Coheed and Cambria? Like how come you suck? Or why do you spend more time writing stupid stories than actual songs? Or why will I have to put up with an hour of your “music” in order to see the band I paid to see, Deftones? Or when will the singer finally get a haircut? Or why did you trick me into giving your music a chance by labelling it Prog, when it’s anything but Prog? Or how did you trick me into reading this news when I could be busy watching porn?
If so, you can submit them to Metal Hammer, and the band will answer some of the questions in the next edition of the magazine (I’d guess).
Atheist drummer's got skills
Drummer Steve Flynn of the technical metal band Atheist is showing off his technical skills, on the song “Fradulent Cloth“. I’ve also got some tech skills, give me a keyboard and I’ll show you how fast I am. I wonder which one of us gets more girls? Make the jump and see the video, then compare that to 15 minutes it took me to write this article. Yes, I type with one finger. And this poor guy plays with both hands and both feet. Who’s cooler now?
A few interviews
Wouldn’t it be fun to read and see a shitload of interviews? Yes? It’s your lucky day:
Megadeth‘s drummer (too lazy to check for the name and you probably don’t care) checked into a drum clinic. So many sick drummers today. See what he talked about here.
Aaron Lewis of Staind is as fat as ever, and he’s promoting his new solo, country flavored album. Shoot me, then see the stuff here.
Airbourne also had a few minutes to speak for some Swedish web site. Click to see it.
Accept frontman Mark Tornillo talked about his “rock scene”. Video can be found here.
And finally, “made of metal” Rob Halford talked for The Governor’s Ball. You know the drill.
Death Angel release new video
Remember when we told you about Death Angel shooting a video for ‘Truce’, which comes off their latest album ‘Relentless Retribution’?
Well, Death Angel finally released said video. Were my predictions, of it being a cross of Saw, Crank and Indiana Jones, right? Probably not. Check it out after the jump.
Metal on Simpsons
Hey! Did you watch Simpsons last night? I didn’t because Simpsons haven’t been funny since season 7, but apparently Anvil had their most popular song, “Metal on Metal” played last night.
Somebody on Facebook posted the video and you can view it here.
