Ooh ah ah ah ah!!
Why do rock bands sometimes release trailers for music videos? Honestly, I don’t think anyone really anticipates a music video anymore.
Well, Disturbed clearly believe their fans do. They just released a trailer for the song, “The Animal”. I have no idea when the video will be out(and don’t care).

Why Anselmo didn't appear at Dimebash
Last month Dimebash 2010 took place in Hollywood and rumor had it that Phil Anselmo was going to perform, he didn’t though. He was ‘sick,’ according to Blabbermouth.
Personally, I thought it was bullshit and that the rumor simply wasn’t true, but Rita Haney, Dimebag Darrell’s former Girlfriend now admited that Anselmo was indeed supposed to perform but he was seriously ill.
Apparently he and Haney finally buried the hatchet and hoped to do that publically at Dimebash, which was a success and I think, it would have been a really nice thing, especially considering that it was taped for a DVD release. Oh well, maybe next year.
Watch a video of Haney talking about Anselmo and Dimebash with Artisan News after the jump.
That Crooked Music strikes back
Them Crooked Vultures is a supergroup. But there’s nothing super about them, really, because their idea of music is basically long jams on stage and rehashed QOTSA riffs. So if you love them as much as I do, good news, new album coming soon.
“Some stuff we’ve worked on, but we’re gonna write pretty quickly and just put it down… we may be a year or so. It will mainly be excess material from the first album, material we started and never finished because we had to go and play the stuff we already recorded!“ said John Paul Jones.

Oh, so it’s not even a proper new album, just B-sides and stuff? Sounds awesome guys. Looking forward to it!
I have an idea for the cover. How about human heads on vulture bodies this time? \m/
Iron Cradle of Maiden Filth
Cradle of Filth like to compare themselves to Iron Maiden. I mean, why not? They’re basically Iron Maiden if you take away talent, legend status, skill, record sales and pretty much everything that makes Iron Maiden, well… Iron Maiden. Still, they’re pretty similar.
“We’ve always been likened to Maiden. A few people have described us as Iron Maiden on crack. The whole band was totally into Maiden when we started and we thought we could do the same thing but we didn’t want to because there was a death metal scene happening right around then. So we decided to get into that and mix it up with the Maiden stuff we liked and put lots of horror like keys and stuff on top of it and that’s how we started.” said Paul Allender while applying mascara to his face.

Iron Maiden on crack, you say? Well I agree with the “crack” part, I just can’t see the similarities to one of the best metal bands of all time. Oh, they all look like Eddie, does that count?
When asked why he is so modest and humble, Paul Allender had no comment.
Again we were right…
A few days ago, we reported that Iron Maiden had a special announcement coming today (click), and guess what? Surprise surprise, but DoM was once again right about something (when aren’t we right?)
Iron Maiden have announced a UK tour for next year. Remember you read it here first, before even Maiden announced it. Check out the dates after the jump.
Want more predicitions? I predict the tour will be awesome.
