Attack Attack! have a new album. You know what this means?
Attack Attack!, the crabcore originators, are streaming their new album, This Means War via YouTube (thanks: ThePRP). You know what this means? Lame puns ahoy.
They be bringing “Revolution” to the local Hot Topic, yo! Don’t be hatin’! I actually listened to the song above, and it sounds like “metalcore meets My Chemical Romance,” so yeah, t’s like 1% better than their previous style which was roughly “metalcore meets Lil Wayne.”
You can listen to the whole album via a YouTube playlist by clicking on this link: Attack Attack! – This Means War
New Sol Invicto nearly out
Now for the sexiest news piece for today. Look up! Click here! Thank me in the comments, bitches.
Oh yeah, if you’re interested in the other bit, Sol Invicto are almost out with their second release, cleverly titled Initium II. In fact, if you’re in the band’s VIP section, you should have the preview track in your inbox right now.
Which begs me to ask the question:
WHY THE FUCK AM I NOT VIP???
Is it because I’d probably make fun of the track??? Actually, that’s kind of a fair point. Anyway, I am so disappointed, I’m thinking I should go wish Skrillex a happy birthday on his Facebook wall. You hear me Richie?! I thought we had something special :'(
Anyway dickwads, make sure to check the band’s Facebook page and follow them on Twitter to get the latest updates, or you know, check out this site because we’ll add that extra awesome™ to the news. Laters!
Architects announce UK headline tour
If you happen to be stuck in the UK this April, a few things might help you make it an interesting experience:
- beer (not UK related, helps everywhere)
- nunchucks (in case a riot occurs so you can be safe)
- seeing Architects live
The band has posted the dates for their April tour on their Facebook, the lineup also featuring Rolo Tomassi and Stray from the Path. If I weren’t too lazy, I’d type the dates myself, but I am… And I feel like I’m doing the band a favor as it is. You can see a photo with the dates after the jump though. Ain’t I nice?
Ektomorf go soft
Hungarian Sepultura Ektomorf will be releasing a special acoustic album on February 17, with an amazingly original title, The Acoustic. Protip guys, only three days and you could have made Valentine’s Day — if you need more marketing expertise contact me.
Either way, you can listen to Sea of My Misery above, and you can see the album cover after the jump.
Chris Barnes is sneaky
Chris Barnes talked about the new Six Feet Under album, and this is what he had to say:
It’s the best album I’ve written in a long time.
Considering the fact that their last album, Death Rituals, came out in 2008, I can also add that it’s also the only album he’s written in a fairly long time.
In case you’ve been living under a rock, Six Feet Under now features a good portion of former Chimaira members (Rob Arnold on guitar, Matt DeVries on bass and Kevin Talley on drums) and we’re really interested to hear what they come up with.
