Hired Guns make surprise appearance
Some of Axl Rose‘s hired musicians recently made a surprise visit at some rock school somewhere in England. Did the children even know who the hell any of them were? Probably not. In fact, I heard that one of the kids shouted ‘where’s the one that looks like Brian May, but with a stupid hat?’ Another apparently bellowed “where’s the ginger dwarf?”
One witty Blabbermouth user commented that by the time Axl showed up, the kids had graduated.
In case you’re wondering which musicians made the surprise appearance, it was legendary Guns N’ Roses guitarist Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal and drummer Frank Ferrer. Apparently, they went to ask the kids for some pointers.

No more Anthrax drama (?)
No more Anthrax drama, that seems pretty far stretched but at least former Anthrax singer Dan Nelson seems to have had enough of the drama and tried to clarify something he has posted on twitter last week.
In 2 posts, dated to past monday, Nelson wrote that “Things have gotten way blown out of proportion” and added that “Joey is a great vocalist, always has been”.

Immortal to bang their heads
The greatest black metal band to ever run down some hills and act like they got seizures in their videos, Immortal, have been confirmed as the first headliners of the German Bang Your Head festival.
We totally recommend you go buy tickets now, make the jump and stop giving a shit about other bands when you can witness this live:
Murderdolls release new video
When Joey Jordison isn’t making awful ‘dum-dum’ noises with his drums in Slipknot, he’s making awful ‘chug-chug’ noises with his guitar in Murderdolls. So you can see why we’re sooooooo excited about this new video of theirs called ‘Chapel of Blood.’
But does it pass the AWESOME test?
– Quick, ridiculous and pointless cuts? Check.
– Machete-type colors? Check.
– Hiding their low-budget production under the “low-budget look” excuse? Check.
– Swedish girl walking around Los Angeles? Check.
%100 passed. View it after the jump.
Slash is a patriot
Everyone’s favorite Willy Wonka impersonator, Slash, performed the ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ live at some match or something.
“Slash performed the U.S. national anthem before tonight’s hockey game between the Los Angeles Kings and the Atlanta Thrashers at the Staples Center in Southern California.”
Wasn’t Slash born in England? Shouldn’t he be playing ‘God Save The Queen’? Oh well, video after the jump
