New Anthrax song
Anthrax, the band who never really knows who their vocalist is, performed a new song live, apparently with Joey Belladonna.
The song is called “Fight ‘Em ‘Til You Can’t,” but don’t be fooled by the Lil’ Waynesque title, it’s still Anthrax… I think…Anyway, the song has been played live before, but not with Joey. I already have a headache trying to figure this out, so do you see what I mean?

Death Angel shooting video for Truce
Bay Area Thrashers Death Angel are shooting a video for the first single off their current Album ‘Relentless Retribution’, called ‘Truce’, with Robert Sexton directing.
What? You don’t know Robert Sexton? Well, me neither because I don’t care for music videos but ‘Truce’ is a great song and ‘Relentless Retribution’ is a pretty sweet album. ‘Truce’ has also been part of the Metal Swim compilation released last month.
Read on after the jump, to view a couple of shots from the video shoot and listen to the song.
In other news, I’m going to get a 1955 Burger from McDonald’s now.
In non-metal news…
Waiting for the End is the newest Linkin Park video. It’s allso the best way to describe how most people feel when they give their new album (and this video) a shot. A more pretentious description by the director, Joe Hahn follows.
“It was an opportunity to experiment with pushing the digital envelope as it pertains to the visual language created thus far for A Thousand Suns. It was my attempt to digitally crush us to the point that you feel the soul of the music through what has become the essence of us.
We become the ghosts in the machine. Some may say that because of technology, we lose a sense of who we are. I counter that by illustrating that we can get closer to who we are if we sift through the noise.”
I do agree with him on one thing. After sifting through the noise whilst watching the video, I got closer to what I truly am: not a Linkin Park fan. See the CGI slideshow video accompanied by some reggae-techno-pop music after the jump.
Billy Gould loves double negatives
Faith No More’s Billy Gould recently did an interview with Consequence of Sound about the future of FNM.
“I personally can’t see us not doing any more shows again, I just don’t see it,” he said. “There’s no point in not to do it. Why quit now? I think it’s just this tour… We did this tour and that’s what we decided to do. And we did it. We accomplished this goal, it worked out for all of us, and then we look at each other and say, ‘Hey what do you want to do now?’ And I think that’s how it’s got to be.”

Eh, personally I can’t see myself not enjoying the continuation of this Faith No More reunion…
Not.
Shadows Fall: New achievement unlocked
Shadows Fall, the live-action MMORPG continues to grow in Asia. It seems they have gained enough experience to upgrade their stamina (and singer’s hair), so the next quest was easily won. The Realms of Taipei suffered some damage to their ears, and the screenshots of the battle can be seen below.
Meanwhile, the band has announced a listening party for their new live CD/DVD Madness In Manila: Shadows Fall Live In The Philippines 2009 on Friday, October 22 at the Idle Hands bar in New York City. As a witty Blabbermouth reader pointed out, which we agree with, what’s the point in a listening party for a live album? Seriously? Why not just, you know, perform the songs live?
