Bad news for music fans
It is with great regret, that DoM must announce today that, according to Kerrang, pop-emo crapcore band, Aiden have announced that they are NOT splitting up, despite apparent rumors.
This post is therefore a tribute to Aiden, who unfortunately are still with us. Our thoughts are with music fans around the world during this difficult time.
Actually, to be honest, who the fuck are Aiden? All I remember is they were huge with 14 year old girls about 4 years ago, and they once did a shite cover of Nirvana’s Drain you. Why am I posting this? Because I can only masturbate so many times in a day before I get bored!
36 Canceledfists
Eskimo metal band 36 Crazyfists canceled their remaining dates due to the bad economy.
“Unfortunate turn of events for the 36 Crazyfists camp. After three weeks of the ‘Stache N Thrash’ tour, we regret the cancellation of the rest of the shows. After the fourth breakdown of our touring vehicle we have no other choice but to cancel as our financial debt has made it impossible to conitnue on“ is what they wrote on their Facebook page (don’t worry, it’s still there, Facebook is free)
On a serious note, it is pretty sad the way so many bands have to cancel concerts due to poor ticket sales. Why is no one showing up anymore? Full article here.
Headlines
Roger Glover (pictured above) of Deep Purple fame thinks he’s a painter and photographer. His exhibition, entitled “Paintings and Pictures 1964 – 2010,” will be running from October 25, 2010 to January 31, 2011. More details after the jump.
Suidakara, the German metal band whose name sounds like an anime series, posted some rant on their official page about some festivals they’re playing and when they’re entering the studio. Read it here. I advise against it though.
First Blood, the Rambo loving band, will release their sophomore effort “Silence Is Betrayal” on November 9. More details (including the cover) here.
Suffocation, the New York-based bondage aficionados, will be streaming their Milwaukee concert on the web, on Monday, October 25. More details here.
Best-Wylde tour
Zakk Wylde will be touring Best-Buy stores all across the country (I’m exaggerating, it’s only 3) to promote his new cd, signature guitars, etc… BYOB!
Dates after the jump.
Where's Waldo?
Replace Where with “How many” and replace Waldo with “revolvers does Kid Rock have on his album cover”? Tough one, you’ll see.
I already nominate Born Free (more like born of two close family members), along with Rob Halford‘s new solo album cover, as the cheesiest of the year. You be the judge, but take notice that at least Rob’s album doesn’t have Kid Rock on it. Which is a huge plus considering what you’re about to witness after you make the jump.
