Daath want you to see them in the studio
Daath, a band who happen to have the most unoriginal name in metal history, have released studio footage for their fans. They also have a new album out Oct 26th. It’s self-titled, which also happens to be unoriginal when it comes to album titles.

Ozzy the old fart
“Ozzy Osbourne was once banned from his daughter Kelly’s school in England after farting and falling asleep in the middle of a parent/teacher interview.
Kelly was horrified when her dad decided to join mom Sharon for a meeting with school officials about her grades because Ozzy is known for passing gas and dozing off in public.
Kelly revealed during an appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show” earlier today (September 29), ‘It was me, my mom, my dad, my teacher at the table. All he kept doing is lifting his (butt) cheek (from the chair), and then he fell asleep!”
Usually this would be the part where I insert a joke comparing Ozzy’s farts to his recent singing, but since I can’t think of a worse way to embarrass your child, all I can say is: props!
Breaking News: Zakk Wylde likes beer
Ever wondered why Zakk Wylde drinks so much? Well you’re in luck, because Zakk revealed all in a recent interview with the Omaha World-Herald (nope, we hadn’t heard of it either).
The reason Zakk drinks so much, is that… he enjoys copping a beer buzz. So there you have it. Simply amazing, am I right?

Shadows Fall online
It could be just me, but the post title would make a totally good name for a geeky MMORPG, right? Nevermind… Shadows Fall, the band best known for its great musical skills singer’s long ass fucking hair, has posted A Public Execution online, a song from their upcoming live CD/DVD Madness In Manila: Shadows Fall Live In The Philippines 2009 (just look at this title, can it be any longer? are these guys trying to compensate for something?) and you can listen to it and see the track listing after the jump.
Dan Nelson, what is he up to?
Dan Nelson, the guy in the middle between his former bandmates of Anthrax up there, was the singer for Anthrax for 2 years, toured with them, recorded an album with them and then got kicked out of the band.
Even though his recordings for ‘Worship Music’ will probably never see the light of day, I’ve seen them live in 2009 and Nelson proved that he is a beast on stage. I was looking forward to hearing his work with Anthrax but now, that that’s scrapped, I thought why not check out what he has been up to since his “release” from Anthrax?
Over at MySpace Nelson has a page dedicated to some work he has done since his Anthrax days, with a couple of friends in his garage (Someone’s taking the Neil Turbin road) and according to Wikipedia (reliable sources FTW!) he is the current vocalist/guitarist for Inside Hollow, who-the-fuck-ever that is.
So anyway, even though he won’t be seen (or heard) with Anthrax any time soon again, Dan Nelson is still making music. And that’s a good thing because most of the songs on his MySpace page are pretty good and catchy as hell. Just check it out.
