British Has-beens: The Movie
“Wreckage Of My Past,” the documentary (and unintentional mockumentary) about the life and career of British has-been Ozzy Osbourne, will feature another British has-been, Sir Paul “I got two legs, bitch!” McCartney. It’s a 70s reunion!
The film, produced by Jack Osbourne (of KFC, McDonald’s and Wendy’s fame), premieres God knows when cause who cares, right? Jack said:
“I’m trying to paint a realistic picture of who my father is.”
How hard can that be? Unless you make Ozzy paint the picture, then yeah, it’s a real challenge with all the shakiness and all.

Incoming: Chronographs
For fans of: Sikth / The Dillinger Escape Plan / Protest the Hero
UK band Shriukume started to make a lot of noise in the UK scene these past couple of years, bringing to the table their own unique take on the Metalcore and Math-Metal genres. Although it was sad to see Shirukume came to an end a month or so back, out of the ashes rose Chronographs; a new band from the same members. Yeah, okay, so I know what you’re thinking, it’s just a name change right? Well yes and no I guess. The band seem willing to emphasise that it means much more than that to them. Chronographs is a new chapter for the young musicians, with new music and announcements coming soon.
For those that haven’t heard Shirukume, they finally released their debut EP earlier this year, to almost universal critical praise. The band was praised for their strong abilities in song writing and willingness to experiment, forging their own sound in the process. You can check out my review later of their EP here.

Nu Metal turned Groove Metal outfit DevilDriver today posted an excerpt of their upcoming documentary ‘You may know us from the Stage’.
The documentary details the past 8 years of DevilDriver’s existence. Filmmaker Daniel J. Burke posted the twelfth chapter (of around 25 chapters) on vimeo, check it out here.
In other news, DevilDriver recently completed work on their fifth, as of yet untitled, album.
Why Dave??? Why????
Baptized In Blood are from London, Ontario, the city where I was born in. I’ve seen them live quite a few times. They suck. Just a lame “metalcore” band that sounds like a really mediocre version of unreleased Killswitch Engage songs. I’ve obviously heard worse, but I never understood the hype with this band. They were signed to Roadrunner last year sometime and are releasing their debut next month.
What’s shocking is Dave Mustaine of Megadeth wants to be the co-manager of this band. The man released many classics over the years, so I’m just surprised he would want to work with a band that lacks creativity and probably won’t release more than 3 albums.
Blabbermouth has more information, so clicky!
