Relapse Records sign Rabbits

Yep, you read that correctly.  The once fantastic Relapse Records, known for signing brilliant bands like Mastodon and Hypocrisy, have given up on Metal.  Instead they have become an animal sanctuary, adopting little bunny rabbits.  Frankly, I find this an absolute disgrace.  Metal isn’t about disgusting little fluffy animals, Metal should be about blood, Satan, war, sex and murder.  So if you’re reading this Relapse records, you’re a bunch of sellouts!

… Oh, someone just informed me that actually Rabbits are just a Metal band Relapse have signed, and I’ve got this all wrong.

If you want to more about Relapse signing a band no one cares about, with a stupid name, check it out here.  Personally I wouldn’t bother though, any band with a name like Rabbits isn’t worthy of your time.

Godsmack singer likes his solo album

Godsmack frontman Sully Erna likes to write his own reviews. And his final verdict on his solo album is that it is a masterpiece.

Well, it’s not like he’s biased or anything. This begs the question, will he draw another 4 stars on his face and make it a “5 out of  5” rating?

Murderdolls interview

Murderdolls, the band who makes Marilyn Manson look like Megan Fox, recently sat down with a chick — who looks like she could also be in the band, BTW — to talk about something. Well, not the whole band, just one of them, although I’m not sure who he is as they all look the same.

Zakk Wylde dresses up

Zakk Wylde felt quirky recently. And as if looking like a bum wasn’t enough, he decided to dress up as Bruce Lee during a radio interview. The listeners would have found it hilarious, I’m sure, except nobody told Zakk you can’t be seen on radio.

Lucky for him, someone filmed it and put it on YouTube. Video after the jump.

When asked if he’s showered in the past 5 years, Zakk answered with a pinch harmonic.

Slipknot: The Movie

Slipknot, the band who can’t stop using the lame “(sic)” puns, are coming to a theater near you.

Of course, the performance is called “(sic)nesses : Live At Download” and it captures the (sic) performance they gave at Download, in front of 80,000 screaming maggots (please replace the M with an F).
