Guns N’ Roses play ‘Civil War’ live for the first time since the 90s
They haven’t played this song live since 1993. In other interesting news, I shaved my testicles this morning, and noticed my ball hair grows unevenly.
Unreleased Death Magnetic track is online
Metallica are currently celebrating their 30th anniversary by playing a bunch of small gigs for their fans, and apparently they played an unreleased Death Magnetic song last night. Then they released the studio version of the song for free. It’s called ‘Hate Train,’ which is exactly what has headed their way after they released Lulu.
I can’t say I like the song, the intro is pretty catchy but the rest of the song is a bit off, and it reminds me a lot of ‘Fuel.’ Oh well, judge for yourselves:
The results to the autopsy are in…
Gwar guitarist Cory Smoot passed away last month. The cause of death was finally uncovered, in case you wanted gritty details about his passing. Here’s what some doctor said:
“We have finalized the autopsy report and death certificate. I have determined that Cory died from a coronary artery thrombosis brought about by his pre-existing coronary artery disease.“

Oh, so it was just a coronary artery thrombosis brought about by his coronary artery disease? Oh, okay. Therefore it’s okay for Gwar to just go on and tour… [/shitty sarcasm]
At least the band set up a foundation for Cory’s wife and her son. You can visit it here, and maybe you can make a donation too.
Rex has no beef with anyone in Down, yo
Even though Rex quit Down and got into another band, apparently there’s no animosity between them.
“There’s no animosity there whatsoever; I talk to Philip all the time. It was [time for a] change, man. I met the Kill Devil Hill guys and it was time for a change — for me, musically. And that’s the way it down.“

Good, keep it that way. Phil’s been in enough feuds with former bandmembers, no need for a new one.
Glad I’ve seen Down live with Rex though. 1/2 of Pantera, can’t go wrong with that.
Devildriver frontman discusses artists who have inspired him
Dez Fafara, the vocalist of Devildriver, recently discussed some of the artists who have inspired him. But unfortunately he failed to mention me 🙁
You can watch the interview above, which was conducted by All The Rage TV.
