How ’bout some new Lamb of God?

Lamb of God

If you head over to MetalSucks, you’ll get exactly that: a new Lamb of God song.

It’s called Ghost Walking, and it’s going to be featured on their new album, Resolution, coming January 24. If you like Lamb of God, make sure to check it out because I’m quite sure you’ll like it. If you don’t, google a new Ke$ha song or whatever, I can’t please all of you.

Darren Aronofsky is the table

Oscar nominated director Darren Aronofsky directed a pretentious video from Loutallica. You can watch it above…

I honestly don’t know how they got this guy to direct a music video for a song off of LULZ-U, but hey, I guess Darren’s movies focus a lot on psychotic characters, obsession, going crazy — Exactly what I went through while listening to Lulu, so actually, it’s a good fit.

If you haven’t seen his debut film Pi, tough shit, cause I’m gonna spoil it for you. The character drills his head at the end. The only way to get rid of the Lulu sounds, if I’m honest.

Ozzy is old!

Today marks Ozzy Osbourne’s 63rd birthday. I could make a few jokes about how he already looked, moved and talked like an 80-year-old ten years ago. But it’s his birthday and I want to congratulate him on that and wish him well.

With the Black Sabbath reunion coming closer, Ozzy’s still got a lot of planned for the next couple of years. Let’s hope he doesn’t break his hip or something. Old people break their hips all the time, don’t they?

“SHAAAAROOON! It’s my fucking birthday and I mumble mumble the fucking mumble mumble mumble and I want a fucking cake!”

Happy Birthday Ozzy!

Shakira is a huge Metallica fan

According to a recent interview, Colombian pop star Shakira is a huge Metallica fan. Apparently she loved “Nothing Else Matters” when it came out, and she has covered it live.

I used to be a huge Metallica fan when I was 15, 16 years old. I remember I was graduating from high school back then and I used to sing ‘Nothing Else Matters’ all day long. I am still a very huge Metallica fan, though. [And] I thought it would be kind of surprising to include it in my repertoire for this tour.

She’s still a huge Metallica fan? She obviously hasn’t heard Lulu yet.

Slipknot, Anthrax, Slayer, Jane’s Addiction members perform together

No doubt you’ve often wondered what it would sound like if members of Slipknot, Anthrax, Slayer, Jane’s Addiction and various other famous bands all got together and performed classic songs. Well, a couple of days ago at the Avalon in Hollywood, California, that’s exactly what happened.

Henry Rollins recruited various musicians to perform in the for a benefit concert, to raise money for Drop In The Bucket, a Los Angeles- and Gulu, Uganda-based non-profit organization that constructs water wells and sanitation systems at large rural schools in sub-Saharan Africa.

You can watch a video of some of the artists performing the classic track ‘Crazy Train’ together above. And don’t worry, luckily, not only can you barely hear Corey Taylor, but he also doesn’t stop to talk about how much he dislikes Rick Rubin or anybody else.

For more videos, information and the setlist, check out Blabbermouth.
