P is for Puscifer

Also, P is for Penis, as in, sucking one. Which is exactly what I think whenever someone mentions Maynard James Keenan’s “crazy” solo project, Puscifer.

Unfortunately for me, lots of people eat this shit up, and in case you’re one of them, you’re in luck, because track samples for the entire new album, Conditions of My Parole, have been posted on Amazon. You can watch the video for Man Overboard above, a quite generic and boring ass song if you ask me, and “amazing,” “work of art,” “genius” if you ask a Tool fanboy (which I appropriately call tools).

Staind have made a drama film about themselves

What you see above is the trailer for a brand new film documenting the process of the making of Staind‘s latest, self-titled album. I was actually kind of surprised by the first half of it, because they speak openly about how they’ve turned into 3 Doors Down after Break the Cycle and their wish to heavy it up for the new one. Not that I think anyone cares about that kind of heaviness anymore, but hey, nice for the three people that remember Dysfunction.

The second part of the clip though, it sounds like some badly produced drama, where the director wanted to create tension by dropping “fuck” and “fucking” all around. In case you give a fuck, check back tomorrow because they will be posting the full documentary on YouTube to coincide with the release of the album.

Get on down with Down

I’m not quite sure what ‘get on down with’ means in this context, or if it’s a sexual innuendo (what’s sex?), but by now you have probably discovered you can watch some ass kicking, high-quality live footage of Down above, courtesy of Superskum.com, so who the fuck cares, right? Just press play already. The footage is taken from the band’s September 6 performance at the Summit Music Hall in Denver, Colorado. If that wets your whistle a little bit, why not check out more videos after the jump.

In other Down related news, the band confirmed earlier this year that they are planning to release four separate EPs over the next year or two. For more on this, check Blabbermouth.

Happy birthday to us!

As you probably read in the post below this one, today is our birthday. Our first birthday, to be exact.

Yes, exactly one year ago we bought this domain and decided to make fools of ourselves by trying to ‘write’ a blog. 12 months later, we’re still going for it at a pretty reasonable pace (an average of 5 posts per day). We’ve also written about over 1,000 bands or artists. That’s pretty good, ain’t it?

Let’s hope there are many more years to come, because we really enjoy doing this.

Some cool giveaways are coming your way soon, it’s just Saturday and I’m too lazy to post about them. Sorry.

GET DRUNK AND CELEBRATE!

P.S. = Holy shit, this is our 2,001th post. Tomorrow marks 10 years since the 2001 attacks. ARE WE THE FUCKING ILLUMINATI? OMFG OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
