Marilyn Manson and The Beef made a video
I just read this article on MetalSucks, and while I usually stay away from cross posting things of theirs because they already reek with sarcasm and insults, I just had to mention this here because I somehow completely missed this: Marilyn Manson is making a “making of” documentary about his new album, the director of which is none other than Shia “The Beef” LeBeouf. It’s called Born Villain, it’s apparently already been made, and it also covers the LA street art scene. Hahaha. I mean seriously, what the hell. Read the original article (linked at the beginning of the post, too lazy to do it again) for some quality MetalSucks commentary, I’m too busy laughing myself.
What they didn’t cover however, is that there is already a music video/short film out for the appropriately titled-song, Born Villain. That’s what you have Dose of Metal and me for, for accidentally finding additional shit and making this post more legit. I actually couldn’t make it to the end of the video. It’s so shocking. Shockingly bad. I mean, it’s the typical pseudo-artistic crap you’d expect a directorial debut would be (and not half as fun as the Ace4Trays video we covered yesterday), and saying the song is forgettable would be a compliment, it’s remarkable just how lame it is. Polish metal superstars Behemoth Vader have posted a preview clip for their new album, Welcome To The Morbid Reich. You can find it right above this text and you can listen to it if you hit the play button.
It sounds like… Vader! Take that any way you please. The album’s been out for a few weeks in Europe by the way, but it’s only coming out on September 13 in the States, which I guess is why ThePRP posted this, and I decided to steal it tweak it.
We Came As Romans are Mis/understood, Deftones hit Bodom
Yo yo yo, quick video update: We Came As Romans have just released a video for Mis/Understanding, and it’s hilarious. And very retarded, which adds even more laughs to the mix. Need I say the humor is completely unintentional? They’ve single-handedly made guitar spins uncool forever, synchronized crabcore jumps even funnier, and ruined the idea of a moshpit forever. Seriously, just what the fuck is going on at 2:22? I mean, if they brought some special ed class to the show, that’s awfully nice of them, but somehow I don’t think that’s the case, which makes it just awful.
Second video for today is a fan filmed footage of a Deftones show that took place in Helsinki. Why are we bothering with this one? Because Mr. Children of Bodom, Alexi Laiho, joined them on stage for the performance of Roots. Odd mix, and you can see the results after the jump.
Price To Pay video by Ace4Trays is a must-see
Only if you’re somewhere alone, though, because it’s kinda NSFW. Ace4Trays are a new Brazillian band, and you can find more info on them at their Facebook page (as well as a full download of their first album, Roll The Dice, which is nice of them).
Let’s go back to the video though — holy shit. I mean, it’s somewhere between haha and wtf, and I have no idea under the influence of what it was made, but I gotta try it one day. Don’t want to spoil too much, so see it for yourself, then let me know which boob moment was your favorite one. Mine was at 3:34.

Lulzies. I don’t know if I covered this band earlier or decided to go against it because giving any, even bad attention to this band is more than they will ever deserve, but I was bored now, so there you have it. The newest dancecore shitfest to get signed by Victory Records, the label that went from hardcore to neon-hair, skinny jeans, crabcore kids. Oh well.
This video is actually decent compared to their “breakthrough” one, Surrounded by Silence (you can watch that one bellow, I added it simply because I’m a dick). It’s still pretty horrible. I mean, I understand these are just kids somehow stuck in the Myspace era trying to score with girls who have dead racoons on their heads for hair, what I don’t understand are the people who put them as sitting ducks for sites like these to rip on.
