Kiss good music goodbye
Kiss, the band that are more of a marketing scam than a band, are apparently back again to ruin more people’s hearing with their atrocious excuse for ‘music’.
The new album will be called Monster, and is a perfect title for the new album in the sense that monsters scare people and Kiss‘ music scares me. Read more on the band’s new album over at Blabbermouth.

Darkest Hour interview
Oh look, I wasn’t lying.
Clicking ‘play’ above will cause a time vortex to open up where exciting things will happen in an alternate universe where you probably get laid, and have a job, and you can read a post from me that doesn’t detail the boring interviews of boring bands that you probably don’t care about, within dreadfully awfully structured writing.
Wow, what an awful sentence. In other news, the above video is actually just an interview with guitarist Mike Schleibaum of Metalcore metallers, Darkest Hour. If you’re also interested in some live footage of the band, you can view some at Blabbermouth.
The interview was conducted by Superskum.
Attack of the killer interviews
The above interview kills. I’m not kidding, if you watch it, you’ll probably die of boredom.
Actually, I am kidding, because I didn’t even watch the interview as I didn’t want to take the risk. The video features Bryan Odell, a reporter from Lincoln, Nebraska, interviewing the bassist of Trivium, Paolo Gregoletto.
As I didn’t watch the interview, I can’t be sure what is actually said, but I’m going to guess Paolo discusses how “awesome” the new album is (hint – it isn’t).
If you’re interested in more boring interviews, then go read Blabbermouth instead then sit around, I don’t have a life, so I’ll probably post, and rip the piss out of, more soon. Enjoy.

Interview: Allen West
Allen West was one of the most important people in the early Death Metal scene. As a founding member of Massacre, Obituary, and Six Feet Under, West cemented his place in the history of Death Metal.
In the past couple of years West seemingly dropped out of the public eye when he was imprisoned for 18 months, but he has gotten his life back on track and is back with his new band SouthWicked.
Make the jump to read my interview with Allen West, where we talked about the imprisonment, his departures from Obituary and Six Feet Under, and more.
Robb Flynn wants to be in Metallica
Like I told you a few days ago, everyone seems to be ‘hearting’ Metallica in the press lately. I’m guessing the whole ‘Let’s bash Metallica cause they’re popular’ movement kind of died down, unless you count the peeps commenting on Blabbermouth articles.
Robb Flynn of Machine Head is the latest musician to give praise to the guys. Here’s what he had to say about the band:
“They’re amazing. They are a real band – one of the last real bands alive. Lifers. The way they arrange their set and blend their set, it’s the magnitude of everything. To me, it was a dream come true. I’m from the Bay and they were my idols. Just to see how much bigger that big could be and where things could really go.“

Keep it in your pants, Robb, jeez.
When asked which member of Metallica he’d like to french, Robb had no comment. He just got all red, said ‘tee hee hee!’ and went to the bathroom.
