Dave Mustaine talks to Alex Jones

That’s all I have to say, really. The title says it all. When Dave talks to someone like Alex Jones, you just know it’s gonna be a discussion of bogus stories like conspiracies, black magic, or religion.

See the clip above and see if I’m right.

Zakk Wylde got roasted (and probably smashed)

The good thing about Zakk Wylde is that, even though he probably spends a lot of money on Johnnie Walker Black Label, he also saves a lot by not showering. So his bills kinda even out.

Anyway, he got roasted recently, and Blabbermouth has a decent article on what happened that night. A few things said by the roasters:

Zakk Wylde on Scott Ian: “Scott’s been playing lots of poker lately, and like Anthrax, they can both barely pull a full house.”
Zakk Wylde on Corey Taylor: “Corey Taylor was in a Tenacious D cover band called Pugnacious P. Now he’s in a Nickelback cover band called Stone Sour.”
Brian Posehn to Scott Ian: “So you’re responsible for Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. On behalf of everybody, (screw) you.”

Full article here.

On paper, some of those jokes sound pretty funny, so I don’t know, maybe it was a good show. They should air this crap, sure beats roasting washed up actors and comedians, the way Comedy Central does it.

Shinedown release new music video

Shinedown have a new video. The song is called “Bully” and you can watch the video after the jump.

The track’s name is appropriate, boy do I feel like bullying Shinedown fans. Good thing I’m not homophobic.

New Max Cavalera guitar is just as ugly as his old ones

Max Cavalera has a thing for ugly guitars with just one humbucker. His signature Brazil guitar even made our Top 10 Ugliest Guitars.

He has a new guitar out, and guess what… It’s pretty fucking ugly.

You be the judge though, last time we talked about guitar looks, we got a lot of shit for it.

Limp Bizkit will change metal. With Lil’ Wayne.

Limp Bizkit are a pretty easy and predictable target, which is why we don’t give them too much shit around here. However, once I came across this article, I couldn’t resist.

“Limp Bizkit is working on what [Fred Durst] called ‘the heaviest, most crazy metal record of all time,’ The Unquestionable Truth Part 2, which Durst said will probably be an EP. ‘That will service our core and counter balance these big, fat, ginormous hip-rock songs we’re going to do.’ said Fred.

The heaviest metal record of all time? Haha, amazing statement. I don’t even know what to say, really, when you’re in Limp Bizkit and you make such a statement, it’s a bit like those crazy people who think they’re Napoleon or something.

So needless to say, I was a bit skeptical they could do a metal record. But then I heard they’re working with Lil’ Wayne. Now I believe.

Here is a clip of Lil’ Wayne doing a guitar solo. I really recommend reading the comments. Make the jump to see an equally amazing solo from Fred Durst himself…
