Phil Demmel, Machine Head‘s guitarist, got a shoe to his machine head two days ago in Belgium. Then he got pissed and walked off.

Some dumbass threw it, and he’s either a really good thrower, or a very lucky one. Either way, I don’t endorse throwing shit at shows, but I do endorse capital punishment for people who do that. Still, the jokes I could write about the word ‘head’ in the band’s name and the shoe that hit it… Damn… This is a goldmine.

Anyway, I wanted to take that video and add the most appropriate sound effect ever, but I am way too lazy. So here, play this exactly as the shoe hits his head:

You’re thinking: “Let them stay there!” but to ruin it for you: it’s not a real prison, it’s a former prison now used as an entertainment venue. I know you’re now probably as disappointed as I was when I saw the Blabbermouth headline. Click-click-clickety-click they gotta make some money, foo!

Yeah, lame. Anyway, they’ll be playing the entire Black album, because that’s the ‘tallica thing this summer, and if you happen to find yourself in Horsens, Denmark on June 6, 2012, make sure to go and let us know what it was like, we’ll be too busy redecorating our basements doing other important stuff.

Abbath is funny

No, seriously, there’s no pun here. I made plenty of Immortal jokes before on count of their unintentional humor, but I just saw this clip of an interview (as part of my laziness and stealing news from research on/r/metal) and I honestly found it both funny and true. Abbath talks about church burnings and Mr. Burzum. I don’t know when was it taken and if you’ve seen it before but hey, it’s not like I care.
