Friday Top 10: Worst grindcore band names
This week we’re all about love death: Guido’s been keeping your daily dose of death metal on steady supply so far, and I’ve sort of touched on a “grind” subject in this week’s Tuesday Trivia.
I promised I might make a Top 10 out of it (any grind variation included), and I’m a man of my word. I’m also pretty lazy, so this turned to be the perfect Top 10 for me: it’s going to be short and disgusting. Read on.
Weak Recap: Mark your territory
Last week’s been all about Mark. He’s posted the most posts (read: all of them) because everyone else was busy. He’s taken one for the team and spent less time watching porn and more time writing for the site.
So it seems fitting that this weekend I get to interview him and ask him what he thinks on (mostly) his posts from this week.
Actually, we just have an order of interviewing each other for this self-indulgent and shitty awesome Weak Recap thing, and it just so happens that it’s Mark’s turn to be interviewed. Last week he interviewed me.

R.I.P. Seth Putnam
A bit late with this, but wanted to finish posting the day’s news so this could stay on top for a while…
Seth Putnam of Anal Cunt passed away yesterday (June 11) after a heart attack. He was only 43 years old.
“I want to remind everyone that no matter how outrageous and controversial his musical career has been, Seth was still a human being with friends and family that loved him. I’m hoping that the Internet will remember that. This is a very sad and trying time for those that knew him, and the last thing they need to see is an outpouring of message board hate. The man lived and died by his own rules; if anything, respect him for that.“

Not much left to say than condolences to his family, friends and fans.

Seth Putnam looks good naked
In case any of you have no idea, Seth Putnam is an artist that has come up with some of the best song titles/lyrics of all time. He is best known as the singer of grindcore band A.C. A.C is not the actual name, it’s just we at doseofmetal absolutely refuse to use the “C” word.
Seth Putnam is back in the news, yet again. To be fair, nothing Seth Putnam does anymore should be considered shocking.
