Tuck is metal as fuck… Allegedly

If there’s anything funnier than a band like Bullet For My Valentine, it’s the thought of a member of the band claiming they’re working on a “metal as fuck” new project. I remember vocalist Matt Tuck claiming their second album would be “heavy”. Needless to say, it wasn’t and laughs were had by all, bar 14-year-old girls with red hair.

Speaking to “Metal Zone” host Nikki Blakk of the San Francisco, California radio station 107.7 The Bone, Tuck said, “At the moment, there’s just three [guys in the new band], but there’ll be a minimum of four.” Regarding the new group’s musical direction, Matt said, “It’s, like, far more like Slipknot, Pantera… It’s metal as fuck, you know what I mean?! Stepping away from the melodic, not giving a fuck…”

To sum up; Matt Tuck sings in British band Bullet For My Valentine. He is now working on a new, as yet untitled, band/project and claims it will be heavy, in a similar vein to Slipknot and Pantera. Expect it to be as heavy and hard-hitting as the Fred Durst sex tape.

Bullet For My Interview

Very slow news day, so might as well annoy you guys with a band everyone probably hates: Bullet For My Valentine.

It’s not even with their vocalist, but their bassist, Jason James (sounds like half of 90s Metallica).

Metal world: Wake up!

BulletDeth for myTallica Trivium

The Virginian-Pilot recently conducted an interview with David Ellefson of Megadeth.  When asked about the new generation of bands, Ellefson commented that he thinks Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium are the Megadeth and Metallica of today (which, BTW, in case you hadn’t realised, is the reason for my stupid title).

Normally I’d try to say something funny at this point (and fail), but luckily Ellefson has already done it for me. No need for me to make jokes, just read that again. Trivium? Bullet for my Valentine? Metallica? LOL.

Learning bad songs on guitar

“Pop metal” band Bullet For My Valentine, who happen to be one of the worst mainstream metal bands out today, have released a guitar tab book to their loyal 14 year old fans.  The book consists all 11 tracks from their most recent album “Fever,” which was released earlier this year.
