Chimaira starts tour without two members
The first leg of the all new Chimaira tour has just started and it’s already promising — The first show didn’t feature two prominent vocalists, Mark Davis and that other guy, Mark Hunter. Rumor has it the first one got ill, and the second one was too busy posting about it on Twitter.
Luckily, vocalists in Chimaira nowadays come in abundance, so replacing Mystery Mark was his fellow bandmate and newcomer to the band, Sean Zatorsky (whose regular position is on keyboards and back vocals, and who sings in his own band Daath), and you can judge him by watching the video above. Gets a pass from me, and my word is final (because I can delete your comments… and I’m not married).
All this band is missing right now is a collaboration with Mark Wahlberg. We’ll keep you posted on it. Oh, and if you found this article too confusing, follow @chimairamark. Get well, bro!
Daath doing well on the charts
Last week Daath released their latest Self Titled album and it sold roughly 500 copies in the United States. The album also made it to number 89 on the Top New Artist Albums Chart. Serious? 500 copies? They used to be on Roadrunner and currently on Century Media, so you would think they would sell at least 3000 this past week.
Daath want you to see them in the studio
Daath, a band who happen to have the most unoriginal name in metal history, have released studio footage for their fans. They also have a new album out Oct 26th. It’s self-titled, which also happens to be unoriginal when it comes to album titles.
Check out Blabbermouth for the footage and more information regarding Daath.
