Debauchery release new music video
Terrible acting, lots of fake blood, playmates dancing on a tank and rocking Death Metal. This is Debauchery. So over the top and ridiculous, you’ve just got to love them.
Above you can watch the censored video of Debauchery’s new single, which comes off of Germany’s Next Death Metal, ‘Warmachines At War.’ You can watch the uncensored version here.
If you ever get a chance to catch these guys live, do it. Debauchery put the fun back into Death Metal. Definitely one of the greatest live acts I’ve ever seen.
Friday Top 10: Best Death Metal songs
People always ask me “Hey, you awesome metal journalist you, what are the best songs of <insert genre>,” so I figured I’d write a list about the greatest Death Metal songs of all time.
There are just a couple of rules I’m limiting myself to. #1 Only one song per band, #2 Must be Death Metal; not Melodic Death, Deathgrind or Blackened Death.
Sounds simple? Well, it is, isn’t it? So make the jump now for this week’s Friday Top 10.

What’s a kickass album without kickass artwork? If you’re like me, you love your Death Metal and Death Metal bands are known for their violent and brutal album covers, so I just made a Top 10 for most brutal album covers.
Make the jump for this week’s Friday Top 10. You can view the Top 10 even if you’re at work. Click the pictures to view the full artwork.
Weak Recap: We’re amazing
This is our fifth Weak Recap, which means we ran out of writers to interview so I’m back interviewing Guido. God dammit. At least old man river up there approves.
In case you aren’t familiar with this recap thing, it’s a way for us to whore ourselves interview each other by recapping the week’s news. Pretty cool, right? Wrong… It’s lame and self-indulgent but hey, at least it’s original. Most other sites just do basic lists. Blah, we do shit properly, yo.
Make the jump and if you’re truly bored.
Review: Debauchery – Germany’s Next Death Metal
Remember last week, when I reviewed the Six Feet Under concert I went to, that also included Debauchery on the lineup? On that very day, I also bought Debauchery’s new album ‘Germany’s Next Death Metal.’ I just didn’t get around to review it yet but today’s the day!
For those of you who aren’t yet familiar with Debauchery, I wrote an in-depth Incoming article about Debauchery, including sound examples of each album, in February.
We also interviewed the band’s mainman Thomas Gurrath twice for the site, so I think it’s fairly obvious that I’m really into this band. Make the jump to read what I make of their new album.
