Foo Fighters win the right to be featured on this website
Because they won a “metal” Grammy. A lot of people got super pissed off about this, because the category they won is called hard rock / metal.
To explain: Dear metalheads, hard rock / metal means hard rock OR metal. Not hard rock and metal.
Either way, blame the people at Grammy’s who lumped bands like Dream Theater, Mastodon, Megadeth with Sum 41 and Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl did rock out a Slayer shirt (as seen above) so that makes it completely okay, right?
The thing I only care about is finding out if Skrillex won the best singer Grammy <3

Haha, really? Well if we’re talking fiction here, why not witness the chase from Terminator 2? Or how about when Neo was woken up from the matrix in the first movie? Or how about being in the room when Joker was interrogated by Batman in TDK? Surely those are all awesome moments, far more impressive than when some dude walked on water.
I hope Mike was just trolling.
Mike Portnoy trolls the interwebz
A troll guy posted on some Dream Theater forums about a certain DT song (from their latest album) which is strikingly similar to a song from Christian band Red. Sorry, I stopped paying attention the second I heard the word ‘Chrsitian.’

Andy McKee to play with Dream Theater
This is a bit old news, but here it goes anyway. According to Dreamtheater.net, the fantastic guitar player that Andy McKee is will be joining Dream Theater on stage during their American leg of the tour.
Dream Theater is excited to announce a unique treat for our fans! During the December leg of our current world tour, spectacular acoustic finger style guitarist Andy McKee will be our special guest for the San Diego and Anaheim shows in California, the Mesa Arizona show, and three shows in Mexico: Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico City.
