Not only are Ill Niño still around, but they’re also shooting a new video. Say what?

“‘Against The Wall’ was shot in Virginia Beach with director Scott Hansen, who has previously worked on videos for Animals as leaders, Willie Nelson, The Devil Wears Prada and A Day To Remember, among others.”

“Scott is an incredibly talented director and we were very psyched to be working with him. All we can say is wait until you see the footage. We had a great time and the shoot was intense.” said the band while chewing gum thus making that annoying noise everyone hates.

Ill Niño still exist?

Ok, I’m noticing this is becoming a trend. By numbers Nu-Metal groups, we all hoped and prayed had called it a day, re-emerging with new albums. Fantastic stuff, am I right?

Of course, Ill Niño aren’t just any ordinary Nu-Metal band though. No, because they mix “awesome” Nu-Metal music with Latin induced sounds and Spanish lyrics. Wow, I for one cannot wait to hear some more power chords blasting over the sounds of bongos.

The band have just finished filming their new video for first single, Against The Wall. The band’s new album, “Dead New World”, is scheduled for release on October 26 via Victory Records.

Ill Niño are still around

First of all, I’m actually a little bit surprised.  I had no idea this band was still making music.  Ill Niño aren’t that bad of a band or anything, probably one of the better Nu Metal acts to come out in the early 200s.  However, they still were unoriginal, boring, Nu Metal and a Soulfly clone.

They have a new album out, “Dead New World“,  on Oct 26th.  They are on Victory Records, a record label known to sign really lousy bands.
