Is Robb Flynn Bane?
In the comic books, Bane deduces who the real Batman is using nothing but his smarts. Or so I’m told, comic books have way too much text for my taste.
In the real world, Rob Flynn says Randy Blythe is innocent. I don’t know if I misread the article and there was more to it (like, shit I don’t know, proof?) or we’re supposed to take his word for it. I bet Randy wishes he could do the same with the Czech legal system.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t personally think Randy’s really guilty, and I can only imagine what a hell it must be to be stuck in an Eastern Europe (I’ve been trying to get out for the past 26 years), but seriously dudes, going around saying he’s innocent without anything to back it up is like praying to fight cancer.

Robb brags about his fans and their MH tattoos
Robb Flynn thinks his fans kick ass. I agree. It takes a truly dedicated fanbase to forget that their favorite metal band turned nu-metal at some point. It’s like finding out your girlfriend’s been in 10 gangbang DVDs behind your back and then forgiving her.
So yeah, Machine Head fans seem pretty loyal, I’d bounce at the first sight of a baseball cap. Anyway…

Robb Flynn makes fun of Lulu by stealing a joke from a meme.
Robb Flynn might be reading Dose of Metal, because he’s been asked in a recent interview about Metallica‘s Lulu, and he stole this joke from our post. Okay, so we didn’t really make that clip therefore we shouldn’t take credit for it. But we will, anyway.
“I think it’s horrible. I don’t get it. The Metallica fan in me wants to think that there’s this ulterior motive that none of us can see, and it’s helping them branch out into something different. But I don’t even get what’s going on. It sounds like Grandpa Simpson rapping over fast thrash beats or something. We’re huge fans of Metallica and they’ll always be my favorite band, but that record was bizarre. It was fascinatingly bad.”

Okay, so I agree with the guy. Lulu does sound horrible and that Simpson meme was way more accurate than it should have been. But Robb needs to learn to be funny with his own jokes. The internet is watching you, Robb. Don’t make us call Fred Durst.
