Get your speedos ready, England!

The underwear models of metal, Manowar, have announced a show in Birmingham, England.

It will happen on the 27th of March next year at the O2 Academy, so wash your ‘Conan The Barbarian’ outfit and get ready!

It’s unknown, as of right now, whether they will add more dates and make an U.K. tour out of it. It is also unknown how four grown men can wear those outfits in public.

Manowar like balls

Manowar may or may not like balls. Looking at them I’d say they probably do, but that’s none of my business. This post is actually about some information regarding the upcoming new album.

Not only is original drummer, Donnie Hamzik back (I’d be excited, if I cared), but the band have apparently scrapped all material they had previously worked on and are starting afresh (unfortunately they’re not capable of going back in time and scrapping their whole career, but I can dream).

Manowar’s new album, Hammer Of The Gods, will be out some point between right now and probably some time next year. They’re also re-releasing Battle Hymns in November in case you care. If you’re wondering what the new album will sound like however, DeMaio described it as like ‘somebody put gasoline on your fucking balls and lit it’. And just like I would avoid having my balls set ablaze, I will also avoid this album.

Manobulgar

Joey DeMaio of Manowar apparently loves Bulgaria. So recently he sat down with Sofia’s mayor to talk about how much he loves Bulgaria. Is there a business venture he’s opening there, or why is he hanging out with politicians?

“Joey signed the city’s Book of Honor with the following text: ‘To the beautiful city of Sofia and to the most beautiful mayor I have ever met and in the world’“

I like some cities as well, so I just, you know… Visit them. I don’t need to tell everyone how much I love them. And I wanted to add a homoerotic joke in here but then I realized… The mayor is a female. So now it all makes sense. Joey wants to hit that. Aww, let’s not cockblock him then.
