Metallica + Lou Reed = Lulu
Blabbermouth has more info on the Lou Reed/Metallica collaborations, and if you thought the project seemed pointless until now, wait till you hear this.
Apparently it’s called Lulu, which is inspired by some plays from a German expressionist writer. I’ll be honest, I didn’t read the whole thing because my interest in this is zero. But they have 10 songs together and as we told you earlier, it will be released on October 31 everywhere and a day later in the U.S.
I’m not gonna lie, I will check it out and probably review it, but Metallica and German plays seem like an odd couple. It’s probably more of a LOLLOL than a Lulu, am I right? High five! But yeah, I guess we’ll see soon enough.
In the meantime, I got my HD porn here to keep me busy, so wish me luck.

Weak Recap: We be winning, playa
It’s no secret that we’re amazing, and we’re pretty modest about it, too. I mean, the rest of the guys who write for this site aren’t really that awesome, but compared to your boring ass, they’re Gods. I, on the other hand, am absolutely sublime. I truly believe a few decades from now people will be quoting my posts and giving them as examples of literary genius.
So why would I, of all people, interview the other writers for this site? Isn’t it a bit like Mozart interviewing Linkin Park? Yes it is, but unlike Mozart, I am pretty humble. And good looking.
Anyway, make the jump and read my interview with some of metal’s worst writers… Ever.
Robb Flynn wants to be in Metallica
Like I told you a few days ago, everyone seems to be ‘hearting’ Metallica in the press lately. I’m guessing the whole ‘Let’s bash Metallica cause they’re popular’ movement kind of died down, unless you count the peeps commenting on Blabbermouth articles.
Robb Flynn of Machine Head is the latest musician to give praise to the guys. Here’s what he had to say about the band:
“They’re amazing. They are a real band – one of the last real bands alive. Lifers. The way they arrange their set and blend their set, it’s the magnitude of everything. To me, it was a dream come true. I’m from the Bay and they were my idols. Just to see how much bigger that big could be and where things could really go.“

Keep it in your pants, Robb, jeez.
When asked which member of Metallica he’d like to french, Robb had no comment. He just got all red, said ‘tee hee hee!’ and went to the bathroom.
Prepare to be disappointed
I’m not really awaiting this project with much excitement. I don’t know why, it just sounds dull to me. But it has a release date now, and it’s closer than I expected.
Their website, which Simo informed you about, now has “November 1 – North America” and “October 31 – Rest of the world” written on it. I’m no psychic, but I think that means it will be released on October 31 everywhere and a day later in U.S.A. and Canada. Just a hunch of mine.
At least we won’t have to wait long for it, and as the resident Metallica fan, I’ll probably have to review it myself for DoM. Well, time will tell. Hopefully it’s good, but I’m not holding my breath.
Loureedtallica website goes live
We’ve covered Metallica‘s “super secret” project that turned out to be a collaboration with Lou Reed before, and now we’re doing it again. Why? Because they have a website out.
The website is so amazing, that if you take a moment to imagine the words LOU REED AND METALLICA and COMING SOON next to the photo above, there’s not a single reason to visit it, because that’s all there’s to it at the moment. If you still for some reason want to see it for yourself, head over to loureedmetallica.com!
