Nikki Sixx madde itt

Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe)

Nikki Sixx has finally made something of his life. No, he didn’t manage to make Mötley Crüe less sucky. Speaking of which, I probably should have added umlauts to the post title, thus making the pun twice lamer. His real success is his radio show, Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx, which is doing pretty well.

In the nine months that Nikki Sixx’s radio show, Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx , has been on air, the Mötley Crüe bassist has already celebrated many triumphs – such as, welcoming rock heavyweights Ozzy Osbourne, Slash and Dave Grohl as guests of the show – but this one takes the cake: Sixx’s show has now hit the 50th affiliate mark.

When asked why he agreed to appear on his radio show, Ozzy mumbled something about Nikki collecting old debts. And Nikki was seen driving off the show with a fresh bag of heroin in his pocket.

Mötley Crüe and Poison töür not happening

If you’re like me, you’ve been hoping and praying for a Mötley Crüe / Poison tour, if only for the entertainment value of knowing Tommy Lee and Bret Michaels might be backstage comparing sex tapes.

Well pervs, tough luck. It’s not happening. Tommy Lee went to Twitter to answer a fan, writing an in-depth mini-essay on the matter.

NO wrote Tommy Lee.

Oh well.

Vince Neil writes a book

There’s nothing more Metal than writing a book about how Metal you are, for a bit of extra cash right? Well that’s exactly what Vince Neil of Motley Crue fame has done.

The Motley Crue man recently released his autobiography, fantastically titled, Tattoos & Tequila: To Hell and Back with One of Rock’s Most Notorious Frontmen. If you want to read a 320 page book about drinking, driving, doing both at the same time, and the occassional playing of music, then check it out.

At first, I suspected that Vince had probably paid a ghost writer to write it for him, but then I read the quote calling Sharon Osbourne “the most evil, shittiest woman I’ve ever met in my life.” and figured a ghost writer would have written that a little more eliquently.

Def Leppard singer finally speaks

Def Leppard, the band with the greatest parking privileges, finally speak on the controversial Motley Crue (sorry, don’t have those symbols on my keyboard) comments.

It will be on some radio show from some radio station but I’m way too lazy to dig up the whole article, so you’ll have to figure it out on your own.

When asked if he buys one drumstick at the time, the Def Leppard drummer had no comment.
