One Minute Silence save you an earache

Reformed Rap-Metallers One Minute Silence have been forced to pull out of this year’s Sonisphere festival, reports Blabbermouth.

I have to give the band credit where due, though, they don’t pull any bullshit, they keep it real yo. Why have they pulled out? Because the band just aren’t in top shape and they’re facing some “life complexities” like bladder weakness or something (at least that’s what one Blabbermouth user speculates). I don’t know, read the story over at Blabbermouth if you care.

Honestly though, this is kind of a good thing. I mean, unless listening to a band that sounds like a cross between Limp Bizkit and Hed PE on a bad day is your thing.

Sonisphere UK adds more bands

Sonisphere in the UK has made another announcement, adding more bands to their already fantastic lineup.

Legendary Nu-Metal band (a bit like saying legendary 40 year old virgin really – not cool and a bit of a paradox) Limp Bizkit will be making their return to the festival this year, playing before headliner Slipknot on the Sunday night. So you can party the night away like it’s 1999.

Joining Limp Bizkit will be Kids In Glass Houses, Gallows, One Minute Silence, Volbeat, Gojira, Inme, Darkest Hour and numerous other bands.

One Minute Silence return

Yay, more Nu-Metal Rapcore acts return. In case you haven’t heard, it’s the new bandwagon. It’s the new cool thing to do. It’s like all the Nu-Metal bands were drowning their sorrows together, wondering whatever happened to their fame and fortune, and then it clicked. They could all plan comebacks and make it the new fad.

We’ve had Crazy Town, Limp Bizkit, and Rage Against the Machine reunite, but now we have One Minute Silence back too. Well 3/4s of them anyways. I can hardly wait for more hip-de-hop chicken pecking headbanging action.
