Dio Christmas cards now available
Ever thought about sending a Christmas card to a good buddy that likes heavy metal? Probably not. If so, now you have a chance to buy Ronnie James Dio Pop-Up Christmas cards.
I’m not too sure what to think of this. Seems kinda pathetic this is happening after his death but I heard it’s going to a charity, so all is forgiven.
Besides, I think it would be pretty neat to receive a Ronnie James Dio Christmas card in my mailbox.

New Heaven & Hell clip
If you’re planning on buying a metal DVD for a Christmas gift, I highly suggest going with Heaven & Hell “Neon Nights”. It was recorded live during the summer of 2009 at the Wacken Open Air festival and will be released November 16th/2010.
The DVD is a must have if you are fan of the three Black Sabbath albums with Dio, and the Heaven & Hell debut album.
Make the jump for the track listing and clip for Children Of The Sea.
Ronnie James Dio Doll
“It’s not a doll, it’s an action figure! Wait no, it’s a statue!”
Hey, wanna pay $115 for a doll that looks nothing like Ronnie James Dio, late singer of Black Sabbath, Dio and Rainbow? Sure? Well, then go here, it’s life-size. Pictures after the jump.
Headlines
Shinedown (pictured above, unfortunately) will release a ‘deluxe edition’ (read: shameless milker) of their 2008 smash non-hit “The Sound Of Madness.” The release date is November 23rd, blah blah, it will have nine bonus songs, blah blah, overall buy it if you want, don’t buy it if you don’t… Who am I to tell you what to do?
Apparently Americans like bands with silly masks, as Mushroomhead’s album is in the U.S. Top 50 chart. Well, at #44, but still, pretty good for some guys who look like the gimp in Pulp Fiction. It sold over 11,000 copies in its first week of release and this begs the question… How come my band ‘Sexy Clowns From Hell’ never got popular? Unfair.
White Wizzard released a song in tribute to the late Ronnie James Dio. Check it out on their MySpace page. It’s called “Shooting Star” and it’s the first song featuring their new vocalist. Sorry, couldn’t be bothered remembering his name 🙁
Ronnie James Dio tribute
Tim “Ripper” Owens, of Yngwie Malmsteen and Judas Priest fame, performed a cover of “Children Of The Sea” in tribute to the late Ronnie James Dio.
This took place at Tim’s Bratislava concert, and you can watch a video of it after the jump.
