Kerry King is modest
If you ever wondered what Kerry King thinks of himself and of his band, here’s your answer. He thinks both are awesome.
“Every year we go on, and everything we accomplish is awesome to us, but it’s not something you can sit at home and think about. We’re very grateful to be where we are.“ said Kerry while playing with the toy he got in his Happy Meal.

Well, no need to be so modest, Kerry, tell us what you really think about your band.
Review: The Big 4 Live From Sofia, Bulgaria (Deluxe Box Set)
June 22th, 2010 was one of the most metal days in the existence of… everything! The Big Four of Thrash Metal; Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax; not only played the same festival, the Sonisphere Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria, together. No, their performances were also recorded, edited and aired in over 800 cinemas all over the world, where over 100,000 fans watched the spectacle.
Now, a couple of days ago, the Box Set of the event was released. I bought it and shall do a short but to the point review for you within the next couple of minutes. Go on after the jump.
In addition, we will hold a Big Four Week soon (dates to be announced), where we will review each performance in-depth, as well as comparing the DVDs and Blu-Rays of the event and whatever else we can think of.
Kerry and Dave sitting in a tree
P.E.R.F.O.R.M.I.N.G. Amazing joke, Alex, you’re comedic genius.
Anyways, just days after Kerry said he wouldn’t read Mustaine’s book, which we told you about, Kerry performed with Megadeth. We reported all that, then we showed you the video of it happening. Aren’t we just fucking tip top?
But now, watch both Dave and Kerry talk about it, after the jump.
Are you evil?
The Big Four DVD/Blu-Ray will be released in a few days, but if you live under a rock and haven’t seen this on YouTube yet, the video of the four bands performing “Am I Evil” is available for free.
So get it here. You can also watch it on YouTube, after the jump, but keep in mind this is a different version, from a day or two after it happened. The iTunes one might be of better quality, so get that too just in case, don’t be lazy.
A day of interviews
Today was a busy day. Seems that musicians talk way too much… Here’s a quick recap on who had what to say.
First and foremost, our very own Guido did an interview with Thomas Gurrath of Debauchery and Big Ball, and it’s the sweetest thing you’ll read all day. I’m posting the other interviews just so I could make this a “recap” and not “look, we’re awesome” post. Read on to check out a bunch of other ones.
