The Damned Things do care about videos (thankfully)
A few days back I posted on The Damned Things and wondered why they haven’t released a video, since their album is almost out. Well, it seems they’ve saved the best for last, the video for “We’ve Got a Situation Here” is out, and maybe it’s just the geek in me talking, but I think it’s pretty fucking awesome. Make the jump and watch it.
The Damned Things posted a new song online
Two weeks before their debut album is about to… debut, The Damned Things have posted a new song called “Little Darling” online. I thought they’d do some more promotion (like a video) since the release date is so close, but I guess they don’t give a shit about videos. Neither do I. Or they think Anthrax, Every Time I Die and Fall Out Boy fanbase’s word of mouth is enough of a promotion. I don’t know, I’m not a music industry analyst. All I know is that there was a time when the word of mouth of those three bands in the same sentence would grant you a foot in mouth.
Go here to listen to the song.
Those Damned Interviews
The Fan-super-duper-tastic group, The Damned Things, have apparently done some interviews with a lot of magazines, which fans can expect to see very soon (and by soon, I mean by continuing to read this post). Are you fan-super-duper-tastic excited? You should be (or is that not be? I always get those two mixed up.)
The Damned Things posted the following via their Facebook account:
We’ve been busy making the rounds to some of our favorite magazines to talk with them about our upcoming album, Ironiclast. Follow the links below for the interviews and make sure to check out our feature in this month’s issue of Alt Press.

Heheheadlines
Kids say the darndest things. Scott Ian says The Damned Things (pictured above). You see what I did there? Hehehe… Anyways, this band gave an interview which you can watch after the jump. That’s it, not much else to add. This isn’t CNN, you know.
Accept frontman Mark Tornillo said “We have every intention of making more records.” Dose Of Metal said “We don’t have any intentions to buy any of them.” Then he started bragging about his deal with Nuclear Records and stuff, read full interview here and witness the modesty.
Primal Fear are hitting South America like a hurricane. Only they don’t destroy houses, just eardrums. Anyway, check out the dates after thy jump.
Dave Wyndorf’s name makes him sound like he’s the CEO of a surfboard manufacturer. He’s actually the vocalist for Monster Magnet. He also gave this interview where he said the new album was meant to be played live. Of course it was, live shows is where the money is right now in the music industry.
The Damned Things. Ironic.
The Damned Things have named their new album! Wanna know the name? Good luck you’re reading our site then. It’s Ironiclast. Personally, I think Ironic would have sufficed in many ways, but who are we to point fingers and laugh? Don’t answer that.
And in case you want to see how Anthrax, Every Time I Die and Fall Out Boy mash up sounds live, check out the rest of this fine article.
