It’s bad news when Bullet For My Valentine sound better than you
Yes, I’m a day late with this, but so what? I was busy getting laid while you were on Blabbermouth hitting F5.
Last night (or the night before) was the official Revolver Golden God awards ceremony (or something… The fact Korn won best album tells me it’s redundant and I shouldn’t care) and Trivium, Corey Taylor (of Stone Sour and Slipknot) and Robb Flynn (of Machine Head) got together to play through this fairly mediocre rendition of Metallica‘s ‘Creeping Death’. You can watch the live video above.
The main problem is Corey sounds like ass. But then, maybe you like ass.
P.S. If you’re wondering what the title is about, here.
Maybe Trivium’s new album will be heavier
According to a recent interview, Trivium‘s new album will be heavier. What, don’t believe me? Check out what Paolo Gregoletto said:
“I think it’s going to be heavier. “
Read full interview here.
Told ya. They’ll probably attach a brick to it, or something.
When asked why he’s named after an Italian kiosk, Paolo had no comment.
More bands for Download
Download is trying hard this year, and well, the lineup is already pretty fucking sweet. Besides the three headliners (The Prodigy, Metallica, Black Sabbath), a bunch of other ones have been added to the annual Download festival, namely: Soundgarden, Lamb of God, Machine Head, Tenacious D (if you wanna see Jack Black be funny play music stand there with a guitar), Trivium, Anthrax, Devin Townsend Project, Chase and Status (if you feel like vibing to some raves), Devildriver…
Wait, why the fuck am I wasting my fucking fingers when I can just post the photo. Make the jump and check the poster out, and don’t forget, more bands to be announced.
Matt Heafy is rich
And you thought Trivium weren’t making money, eh?
Frontman Matt Heafy just tweeted a photo of his royalty check right here. Dude gets paid quite a lot, huh?
“Dear state of the music industry, Thanks a heap for this massive royalty check.
Read tweet here.
It could be worse… No wait, it couldn’t. Damn…
Start your Thursday with some Trivium
…because Thursday are awful, and if you can’t beat them, join them. You know I’m kidding, because my Trivium tattoos testify my love for the band (they’re non-existent), but hey, lots of people say they’re a fun live band, and our own Mark gave their new album a pretty decent score when he reviewed it.
Second part of the Tilburg, Holland show can be seen if you make the jump (despite both video clips having “1 of 2” in their title). Thanks goes out to: Blabbermouth
